Our previous potatoe scrubber brush was made of wood and eventually fell apart, whereas this one was made entirely of plastic and had nothing to separate after repeated use and washing. The longer side is stiff, which makes it ideal for washing potatoes. For more delicate items, the shorter side is less rigid and more flexible.
Each brush's stiffness and materials are perfectly balanced. The larger brush is stiff enough for potatoes and carrots, as well as most fruits and vegetables, while the smaller brush is made of a special material that is very soft for mushrooms (works dry and wet) and softer foods such as strawberries. I bought a second one in case the first one wears out (despite the fact that it is of excellent quality). It'll take a while) because I adore it! This is an excellent brush. It'd be great if it came in black, white, or a variety of other colors. Lime green isn't a color that I'd use in my kitchen. However, it isn't usually left out.
This brush was specifically purchased to clean fresh mushrooms. For root vegetables, the scrub side is fine, but the mushroom cleaning side is ineffective. The bristles are made of a thick plastic material. Brushing soil and debris off fresh mushrooms is impossible with this brush. It's not worth the trouble to go back.
I bought this tool to use as a vegetable cleaning brush (especially for mushrooms), and it has exceeded my expectations. Under a little running water, it works wonders for mushrooms. The stiffer bristles work wonders on carrots and potatoes, removing all of the dirt. It also cleans up nicely, and I like how small it is and how it sits upright on the kitchen sink.
sturdy. very well-made It went above and beyond my expectations. My smaller hands found it to be the perfect size. The design is fantastic. On one side, it's sturdy enough to hold potatoes and vegetables. The other is for soft mushrooms and the like, and it's well-made.
but overpriced by about 800 percentage percentage percentage percentage percentage It's nice to have a brush, and the fact that it's two-in-one is advantageous. sided. However, I was just at Dollar Tree and saw one that looked similar- a brush with two sides for literally Unless the smaller brush with the rubber bristles on the other side of this brush is extremely important to you, I'd recommend saving a few dollars and purchasing one from your local dollar store. Heck. You might even be able to get two. They'll both be less expensive than the one on this list.
Controllable and simple to grasp. This tool has piqued my interest. I always had a handle on my brush and could never scrub vegetables as well as I wanted. This provides more control and dexterity, as well as two sides for hard and soft scrubbing. It appeals to me.
