I purchased one of these scrub brushes at a discount store five years ago. Because I've used it so much, the bristles have finally given up this year. When I returned to the center, no one had them. They are simple to use and eliminate the need to scrub your hands repeatedly. Other brushes are much more difficult to use than this one because it has a paddle on the end. I believe I will place an order for a spare.
That one didn't do as well as these at cleaning my pans and dishes. I really like the scraper on the end, and it's great for getting tough foods off of pans because you don't have to scrub as hard. I scrubbed and scrubbed with the other brush, but the food would not come off. This brush is also gentle on the skin while cleaning. The brush I bought at a local store had hard bristles and didn't clean inside cups, glasses, or my coffee carafe. This brush was greatly missed, and I will not be without one in the future!.
The bristles of the brush are easily rinsed of food. Red sauces leave no stains on it. It does a great job of cleaning my pans. I'd buy another, but I doubt I'll need one for a long time.
The purchase of a scraper with such a large handle is well worth it. It's preferable to those small scrapers that I'm sure we've all used. The scraper, however, has a brush on the other side, so it's always handy. The bristles on my brush were bent when I took it out of the package. [THIS ITEM SHOULD BE SHIPPED IN A BOX, BUT MINE WAS NOT] but I soaked it in boiling water and it returned to its original shape. In my opinion, the bristles are too soft. The only disadvantage is.
My husband came home with a brush that looked exactly like this. One that he just happened to come across and thought I'd enjoy; well, he was right; I loved it and, of course, went straight to Amazon to get a new one. The scraper at the end is the best part because it's not thin or hard enough to scrape things that shouldn't be scraped, but it's extremely useful for scraping hard-to-remove food from dishes.
When it comes to finding the ideal scrub brush, I am extremely picky. This is it, I have to say. It performs admirably, with just the right amount of bristles - It shouldn't be too soft or too hard. Surprisingly, the scraper proved to be extremely useful.
Clever! It's been great for plates, utensils, pots, and the kitchen sink over the last year. When this one wears out, I'll order another one.
Both the scraper and the scrubber are effective.
