Questions & Answers
On the box, there is a label that reads, Bleached, 20 x 12 (Grade 10) The width is 40 inches when unfolded, so the 20 on the label must refer to the folded width. I hope this has been of assistance.
The cheesecloth is 50 yards long and 36 inches wide, with a total length of 1,800 inches. Thank you for your interest in learning more.
Yes, it has been bleached, but it has not been starched.
You must, in fact, cut it.

The weave on this cheesecloth is extremely tight, giving it a high-end appearance and feel. My daughter's wedding table runners were made from it, and we dyed it with Rit dye. They looked stunning!.
It keeps its shape and has a decent weave that isn't too loose. This is something I use for a lot of different things. Wrapping homemade traditional fruitcake, and covering my vegetable plants when the sun gets too hot. br>Straining yogurt that has been made at home. br>Reusable "teabags" made at home. Etc. br>This is my third box, but only my second 90-cloth box. br>I still have a lot of 50 cloth, but my favorite is the 90. br>It's a good deal for the amount of product you get and how long it lasts. br>As you use it, it folds out of the box easily.
We used it as a sunscreen over the tomato and pepper cages in our garden, and it's the perfect weight for the job. I expected it to be a one-time use item, but after three months, we removed it and found it to be in excellent condition, aside from the holes we punched in it to tie it down. We plan to use it again next season. Curtains, tablecloths, and light clothing would all benefit from this weight. There was no odor from the dyes to irritate my scent sensitivity. The packaging was flimsy, but the fabric was excellent; we will order again when the need arises.
It swayed and moved beautifully, and it was light enough to be used on moving lines without causing too much drag.
This product is fantastic, and I've been using it to glaze my windows. There isn't a lot of lint or stray threads. br>As evidenced by their photo, they came in.
Unlike some other reviews, the cheesecloth I received was packaged in a larger standard corrugated cardboard box and arrived in perfect condition.
Because there is so much of it, a more durable storage box would be preferable; mine was torn up simply from handling.
