Yes! I used it to make Ghosts out of styrofoam balls to hang outside, and there was plenty left over.
This would not work for curtains, in my opinion. It isn't attractive. Large mesh with a lot of irregular seams. Muslin, in my opinion, is preferable.
So, in my opinion; However, instead of using cheesecloth, I would use wax. Unless, of course, you're making a cheese that includes mold as a flavor component, such as blue cheese.

When I read some of the other reviews, I was a little hesitant because it appeared to be poorly packaged and looked as if it had been cut off a bolt at a fabric store, but I bought it anyway because some people enjoy whining about insignificant things. Although the product was cut from a larger bolt of fabric, if I had purchased this cheesecloth from a fabric store, they would have done the same thing - Unless they'd just tossed it in a plastic bag with a price tag attached and sent me on my way. The fabric was folded neatly and wrapped in clean brown paper with brown paper tape to secure it. It was not in any way used, and neither was the packaging. It arrived in a clean envelope, and the product arrived on the scheduled delivery date. I believe that the remarks about the wrappings and other details are unjustified. merely stating the obvious:.
I cook, can, and make cheese, all of which necessitate the use of good quality cheesecloth at some point. This is perfect for all of my needs, and 10 yards for under $20 with expedited shipping was a great deal. I can now strain, hang, mold, and age all of my cheeses while still having enough left over to strain stocks, blanch fruits and vegetables, and use for whatever else I can think of. It also arrived a day earlier than expected, which was fantastic. I'm confident I'll be ordering more as needed in the future. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I cut five one-yard squares of cheesecloth after receiving it in the mail and sanitized them in boiling water with baking soda. I'm very happy with the outcome; there was very little shrinkage, the weave tightened, and the material softened exactly as it should. The rest goes into a ziplock bag to be used in bandaging cheese for aging in the future. This purchase has exceeded my expectations, and I will be making more purchases in the future.
I would recommend this product; we used it to make sour dough bread the other day.
br>It's not recommended for mummifying a body. That is, according to what I've heard. I don't have any corpses in the house that need to be mummified. What kind of weirdo are you? In any case, this is a high-quality product.
This air conditioner has a design flaw in that an air filter was not installed on the air intake when I purchased it. When I was in the US Navy, we used to cover our big heavy metal (pain in the buttocks to clean) air filters on the ship with cheese cloth on a regular basis. I just taped the cheese cloth in place after cutting it to size (2 ply thickness). It may not appear to be very swanky, but it beats disassembling the unit every year to clean the fins and coils. Cheese cloth is also one of my favorites because it is obvious when it is dirty and needs to be replaced. Camelot Revisited was where I got mine, and they shipped it out quickly!.
For the money, this is an excellent cheesecloth. Was packaged exactly as shown in the photograph. The weight is also nice, though not as light as I had hoped. Raw beeswax and unrefined Shea butter are the most common things I strain with cheesecloth. In addition, I've used it to strain my homemade raw apple cider vinegar. It captures even the tiniest particles with ease. Even after cutting the cheesecloth, there appears to be very little fuzz. This is a product that I will definitely buy again. Thank you very much!.
I tried a lot of different things before deciding that this cheesecloth is ideal for straining the kidney tea I need. I have two serious (fatal) diseases, and I was given so many pills to take that my body couldn't digest all of the coatings, making me sick. My system soaked up the tea and I improved dramatically after separating the pills and making tea from the insides of them while discarding the coating. I need a lot of it, and Amazon was the only place where I could find it in such a large quantity. It appeals to me.
