Do I understand correctly that you must return the product to the manufacturer? My family has a Cuckoo rice cooker with a peeling nonstick layer (not this one). I believe they dialed a number from the instructions pamphlet and were instructed to send it to New York or something similar. Yes, there is a charge for the replacement - I'm not sure if it was for shipping or for the actual replacement.

I eat rice every day as a Korean, and I'm well aware that Cuckoo is the best rice cooker on the market. This is the only brand I've ever used, and my mother is the same way. But I had no idea there was such a thing as a made-up word. This is a Chinese version, which is why it was so cheap. I should have double-checked, because this one has a "turbo" cooking feature, and my old cuckoo used to cook 10 cups of rice in 20 minutes. But it takes an eternity to "fast cook" 3 cups of rice in this one, so what's the point of having a fast cooking feature when it's only about 4-minutes? Is it possible to go 5 minutes faster than usual? (45-minutes-faster-than-usual-time Is it really going to take 50 minutes? ) It does what it's supposed to do and keeps the rice fresh for a couple of days (the Korean made ones are usually good for up to 90 hours- I tried). Overall, it's ok for the price, but I'd consider this product as a backup machine (in case I have to cook kalbi chim in my big cuckoo while also making rice. etc).
It appears that whatever was used to coat the pot is starting to melt away. I've had a few rice cookers before, but nothing like this has ever happened to me. br>br>I'm not sure when this started happening because you can't tell which material has become exposed to the rice in the pot when it's in the pot. Cuckoo has been contacted, but no response has been received. This pot's quality is dreadful.
It's made in China, after all, and the pot coating doesn't appear to be particularly durable. And it takes nearly an hour to cook a half-load of rice, but then there's the price. As a Korean, I strongly recommend this cooker as an excellent first-time purchase. cooktop at the same time I've been using it for almost a year now. And the pot's coating had been scratched as a result of a number of errors (not using the sponge side of the dish sponge (! ), Inserting metal utensils into the pot Etc etc. . The coating, on the other hand, appeared to be very durable. If you're looking for a true rock solid inner pot, look no further than the Xwall stuff. However, at that price, you'd have gotten two of these. Idk. It's a good price for a good product, and the rice cooks up nice and sticky (I prefer soggy rice to regular rice because it dries out the rice quickly after 12 hours). After 72 hours, the rice begins to turn yellow and watery. (with botan rice, and this usually means that batch of rice went bad) unless you're going to have the rice 24 hours a day (yes, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a day, 24 hours a This product is not suitable for you. However, the simplicity and compactness of the design. There isn't a better cooker than this one. Don't make a fool of yourself with what you have. What you pay for is exactly what you get.
Cuckoo has a lot of good reviews, so I decided to give it a try because it was on sale. The end result is. . . oh my! The rice turned out to be absolutely fantastic! In addition, it is multifunctional. You'll be glad you did!.
This is the one that my girlfriend has: (CR-model) 0631), and it will keep rice warm and fresh for up to two weeks. This one (CR-) was purchased by me. 0655F) with the expectation that it would be the same. However, this is not the case. Rice can only be stored for two days in this container. Before the rice starts to brown and become dry, it takes 3 days. Still edible, but not as fresh as the pink Cuckoo from the previous post. br>br>Additionally, cooking takes an eternity - For just 1 bowl of rice, it takes at least 25 minutes. Turbo mode cuts it down to about 2 minutes at most, but it still takes an eternity. Even my old black leather jacket The double-decker rice cooker is much faster, and I have to admit that I still use it when I'm in a hurry. br>br>Don't be fooled into thinking you're getting a good deal just because it's on Amazon. approved. The pink one (CR-) is the one we're talking about. The rice cooker (number 0631) is by far the best.
br> It's simple and straightforward to use. br> Makes delicious rice. br> Looks nice on the counter. The disadvantages: br>br> When you press a button, it slides easily across the counter. br> The user manual's translations from Korean to English are frequently amusing but also perplexing. When I removed the inner cooking pot, the first thing I noticed was how heavy it was. It's a substantial piece of work. The inner pot of my older rice cooker was made of extremely thin (and light) metal. It was so thin, in fact, that the rice on the bottom was frequently burned. I only used the parts that weren't burned. With the Cuckoo, this hasn't been a problem. I've been making long-term commitments for quite some time. Each type of rice, including grain rice, Japanese sticky rice, basmati rice, and arborio rice, has performed admirably. I wish this cooker came with a non-stick surface. Feet that skid. When I press one of the machine's control buttons on the front, it slides across the counter top. I need two hands to do this - one to push the button while the other holds the cooker It's not a major issue, but it's not insignificant either. The addition of skid feet would be beneficial.
This Cuckoo rice cooker is far superior to the $20 rice cookers I've previously owned, with moist, soft, and perfectly cooked rice from the very first batch. While I am not a rice connoisseur, I must say that for the price, this cooker performs admirably. The provided instructions make it simple to set up and use. The inner pot is substantial in weight and has a high-quality non-stick coating. a coating that sticks The unit is heat efficient and kept the rice warm for over an hour without using the keep warm function because the buttons are user friendly and intuitive. That appears to me to be a feature that conserves energy. The only criticism I have is that the lid should open more slowly, but this is a minor point. Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase.
I wasn't sure how I felt about a rice cooker, but I came across a couple of recipes that didn't call for rice but were cooked in one. They're more adaptable than I had previously believed. br>I really like it! It's so simple, and the rice tastes better than anything I've ever made on the stove, and a million times better than instant rice. There's a wonderful aroma about 10 minutes before the rice is ready. I'm sorry I didn't get a rice cooker sooner. It smells like rice, but better than rice has ever smelled in the history of cooking rice. br>I'm sorry I didn't get a rice cooker sooner. I would have done it if I had known.
