My rice usually takes about 25 minutes to cook. But I like to let it sit for another 10 minutes after the button pops up, because I think the rice becomes thicker and softer after that time. However, this is merely a matter of taste.

Stainless steel or ceramic-lined pots are the way to go. After only two days of use, this happened. After using the plastic spatula that came with it, there were multiple scratches. br>Worst non-academic non-academic non-academic non-academic non pot with a stick Choose a stainless-steel cooking pot. br>And yes, before turning on the cook mode, I made sure to wipe any excess water from the bottom of the pot. Even after two uses, it had turned brown. br>I'm going to return it. I was disappointed. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I purchased an Instant Zest 8-cup rice cooker on August 4, 2020. The inside is lined with ceramic. I hand wash it and use the plastic spatula that came with it, just like the AROMA. I'm crossing my fingers that it stays put!.
I'm really enjoying my new rice cooker; I ordered one a few years ago and still have it, but the inner pot has a few tiny pin size holes in it, so I'm going to order a replacement inner pot instead of throwing it away, and I'm still going to order another 20 cup rice cooker like this one, which I'm really enjoying. It's simple to clean and wash with just a little water and dish soap and a dish cloth. There is no rubbing or scrubbing at all. These rice cookers are fantastic, and I use them to make grits and mashed potatoes. vegetables that have been lightly steamed It's really cute.
When I was single, I had the smaller version, but this one is ideal for our expanding family. Even Zatarain's Red Beans are no match for it. Rice, not just any rice; I frequently steam vegetables while my rice cooks, which saves me time and eliminates the need to clean another pot.
Other, smaller rice coolers we've owned have never had this issue. There's no need to be concerned. However, if you don't put a plate or tray underneath it, you'll end up with a huge mess to clean up. Aside from that, it's a large rice cooker that'll come in handy. If you use the included plastic steamer tray (Ummmm. . ), this is a versatile size for vegetables. Is it really healthy to cook with plastic? Simple to work with. Cleaning is a breeze.
A new box was delivered with the rice cooker. The rice cooker did not work after we unplugged it and plugged it back in. We discovered food stuff in the bottom of the rice cooker after digging around a little more. This rice cooker has been used and has been broken. I'm going to ask for my money back. Very let down.
It appears to be functional. For about two minutes, it worked. After those two minutes, it didn't work. This is the last time I'll buy anything from this company. Now all I have to do is figure out how to get rid of it. Please do not purchase this product and do not waste your money. I was very excited to purchase a low-cost rice cooker in the hopes that it would actually work. I even attempted to access the product's website, but it turned out to be a scam.
I reasoned that because the pot could hold 20 cups of cooked rice, it should be able to hold one cup of rice plus 10 cups of water. The rice and water spilled out of the pot and onto the table the entire time it was cooking, creating a huge mess. What was left in the pot was tasty, but there was only about half of it. When I tried to cook 1 cup of rice with 3 cups of water, the same thing happened, but less came out of the top. The rice was alright, but it wasn't particularly fluffy.
I've mastered the art of perfect rice cooking. That's what I've decided to do now. It comes with a nonstick removable pot that is simple to clean and operate. The price was well worth it!.
