Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
ELEGANT This earthenware ceramic pot can be used to cook as well as serve food. The tagine's base is wide and shallow, allowing steam to rise and condensation to fall back over the food while forming a tight seal. You'll be able to entertain guests by cooking Moroccan dishes and more with his colorful kitchen cookware!
LARGE SIZING: Each tagine has a conical top with a height of ten inches and a base of ten inches. Each pot can be used to prepare a wide range of dishes. When you have people over for a party or get-together, the ceramic dish set is ideal for serving foods. When serving, the food can be arranged in a variety of ways to create a dramatic reveal.
HOW TO USE A TAGINE POT: Soak the tagine pot in cold water for 36 hours before using it for the first time. Place the pot in a low-heat oven to get it ready for cooking. Use a temperature of no more than 275 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the pot on a heat diffuser on a gas or electric stove and begin cooking at a low temperature, gradually increasing the heat as needed. To avoid cracking, serve the pot on a wooden board rather than a cold surface like marble or granite.
HOUSEWARMING GIFTS IN CERAMIC: Our hand-painted tagine cookware makes a wonderful gift set for any occasion. They can be used to make a variety of dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and baked desserts. They're also ideal for Thanksgiving. This two-piece set is perfect for wedding trays and platters, anniversary gifts, new home housewarming gifts, home gifts, Christmas gifts, birthday presents, or party trays and platters.
FAIR TRADE HANDMADE DISHES: Using our tagines will improve the taste and quality of your food while also keeping you healthy and free of chemicals. One base and one lid with an easy-to-lift handle make up our fair trade handmade tagine pot. During celebrations, this moroccan cooking tagine will look great on any colorful tablecloth. Each ceramic plate is handcrafted in Tunisia by a woman-owned business specializing in custom platters and trays.

Questions & Answers

Is this tagine, without a doubt, lead-free?

It does not contain any lead.

Is there no lead in the tagine?

I went back to buy one for a gift after receiving mine. The description had been updated to state that it was for decoration, which had previously been absent from the description. I'm not sure if this means it's dangerous to cook with. Because of this, I don't use it in my cooking. Sorry, this doesn't answer the question, but it relays my experience and opinion. I may test it at some point to see if the issue is lead or if they were simply trying to increase views by saying it was decorative.

What is the best way to use it with an electric stove that has a glass top?

The electric stove follows the same instructions as the traditional stove. Please don't use it on high heat, and you should be able to eat some of the tastiest and healthiest food you've ever had: )

What is the name of the country where you were born?

It's likely that Moroccans living in Occupied Palestine made it because it's the Khamsah.

This Tagine is fantastic!! This tagine is fantastic!! Perfectly prepared the food! The item was exactly as described on the website, arrived quickly, and was well-packed

Because the tagine is also a work of art to be admired, I leave it out on display. I would buy from Kamsah again in a heartbeat. Thank you a lot!.

Exceptionally well made
5/5

After spending some time in Morocco a few years ago, I've always wanted to make a Tagine. I didn't have enough room in my suitcase to purchase one while I was there. This one is stunning; The painting is exactly as good as it appears in the photo, and it was extremely well packed to ensure no damage during shipping. br>br>Because many Tagines are only meant to be used as serving vessels, I was relieved to discover that this one can also be used to cook, albeit at a low temperature. I have yet to try it, but if anything unexpected happens, I will update this review.

What a lovely present
5/5

This tagine was purchased as a wedding present for a friend, and she absolutely adored it! She sent me photos of her very first cooked dish! It was incredibly flavorful, she said, and not at all messy! Everything fit right in, and the kitchen was clean and ready in no time! This is a beef and vegetable tagine; I had a delivery issue, but their customer service handled it quickly and professionally. Thank you very much, Kamsah:.

Pretty piece, but not good craftsmanship or customer service
3/5

We had a small break at the top of the piece, which seemed to be due to shipping. Even though it wouldn't have affected cooking, I contacted the seller to see what I could do. Return? Alternatively, we were looking for a glue to use that would allow us to continue cooking. , because it could be glued without showing any signs of a break. There has been no reply. Nothing. We looked for a glue and discovered it. The vent hole was then discovered to be sealed due to an excessive amount of ceramic glaze. To drill and use it as a vent, we needed a ceramic drill bit. I was finally able to use it to prepare food. It was enough for one meal. It was necessary to understand how to use and clean the equipment. There are no instructions included.

Cooking with a tagine is easy and tasty
5/5

My beautiful handmade pottery tagine arrived just a few days after I placed my order, and I'm enjoying discovering the delights of traditional Moroccan cuisine. The recipes I've tried so far are all easy to make, and the results are both visually appealing and delicious. The slow-cooked beef, lamb, chicken, and fish with assorted vegetables and spices are presented to the table with flair, and the slow-cooked beef, lamb, chicken, and fish with assorted vegetables and spices are presented to the table with flair, as well. Cooking in this manner frees up time to prepare for visitors. The tagine emits a wonderful aroma throughout the house. It appeals to both my wife and me.

This is a beautiful tagine that is not only handmade but also has a beautiful design
5/5

My tagine, unfortunately, had been damaged during shipping, and the lid had a hairline crack when it arrived. It wouldn't have been a big deal if I hadn't intended to use it for cooking, but I did. Customer service was fantastic when I reached out to them. Ed stepped in to assist me, and they immediately sent out a replacement lid at no cost to me. I highly recommend this product; for the record, I ordered the larger tagine, which can easily feed four people!.

Customer service is outstanding! My Tagine was delivered in excellent condition
5/5

br>br>I am very pleased with the customer service; I accidentally ordered a medium size and attempted to order one size up, but my order had already been processed. Regardless, I was ecstatic to receive the extra-large size. This was crucial because I needed it for a planned party, which I would have had to cancel and reschedule if I hadn't done this. It would not have arrived on time if I hadn't ordered it. br>I am looking forward to using it! It's lovely on its own, but I can't wait to try it out with some chicken lemon tagine! I'll take pictures and report back once I've tried it out. Thank you for your patience and flexibility. br>br>.

I adore my fair trade tagine; I adore making tagines (the food) and had been looking for a tagine (the cooking/serving dish) for quite some time
5/5

While there are many inexpensive, lightly used tagines of unknown origins available, I was overjoyed when I came across this one - For me, this is the ideal option. br>br>You can buy new tagines from high-quality manufacturers in addition to used tagines, but I couldn't get excited about buying a traditional cooking dish from Emile Henri or Le Creuset, both French companies, especially since the French colonized North Africa. I was looking for a potter who was either from the area or from North Africa. br>br>Here are some of the reasons I adore this tagine:br>br>1) Because the tagine is a North African tradition, I was especially pleased that it was made by Tunisian potters. According to my understanding, the vendor is a fair trade company that gives back to the artisans, which is something that was important to me. (I couldn't find any third-party confirmation of its fair trade status, so I just took their word for it. ) )br>br>2) It's absolutely breathtaking. br>br>3) It is free of lead. br>br>I intended to cook in it, but discovered that it was easier and faster to cook the food in my Dutch oven or pressure cooker first, then serve in this tagine. br>br>This cookware/serving dish is a work of art that screams special occasion while paying homage to the culinary roots of tagines. When it's not in use, I keep it on a shelf in my living room because it's so lovely.
