The "Original Baking Can" is only available in one size, measuring 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 inches wide and holding about 1 quart. We've tried larger sizes but the loaves haven't baked all the way through. The baking times are more accurate and the loaves turn out great when we use the small size baking can and set the oven to 375 degrees. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and good luck with your baking!
Yes, that is possible. In "The Original Baking Can," yeast breads turn out beautifully! Set your oven to about 25 degrees hotter than the recipe calls for, and your loaves will bake more evenly. Please use a nonstick vegetable oil spray to spray the baking cans so that the loaves will come out easily when done. To accommodate the loaf's upward expansion, fill the baking can to about 1/2 full. For more baking tips and recipes, visit the MJ Angel Food Bakery website!

" This is a well-made item that will last for many years. I bought it to make Boston Brown Bread, for which I previously used what everyone else does (an old coffee can). Coffee cans are becoming increasingly rare as manufacturers find it easier to conceal reduced packaging quantities in a bag. In addition, coffee cans have "ridges" to reinforce the thin metal, which prevents the loaf from sliding out when it's done baking. These high-quality cylindrical cans allow them to easily slide out.
Strong, well-made can; however, I believe $31 is excessively high for its size; however, it received positive baking reviews, which is why I bought it. I'm going to use it this week to make an english muffin recipe, and I'm confident it'll turn out well in this pan, but I'm disappointed in the price.
It would be nice if there was a handle on it. It's well polished, so it's a little tricky to take out of a hot oven. This design appears to be for dense or dessert breads, but I've been using it to make a soft loaf that's the perfect size for an egg Sammy.
Mine arrived last week after I purchased it. Because my flight was delayed by Delta, I was able to bake a couple of banana bread loaves. My expectations were not only met, but they were exceeded. The pan is significantly heavier than anticipated. This prevents the crust from becoming too hard. The loaves disappeared without a trace. I simply wiped out the pan with a paper towel to clean it up. It was incredible bread. This pan will be ideal for Christmas gifts, special occasions, and any time you want to make something unique and special. Next up. To make BLTs, use white bread and tomatoes from the garden. I've made my decision. You are also going to be sold.
I was concerned that it would take up too much room in my pan drawer, but it actually fits perfectly in the corner! Hands down, my favorite way to eat pumpkin bread is in a sandwich. I mean, I love pumpkin bread in any shape or form, but it takes comfort to a whole new level when it's round! I'm looking forward to making mini loaves for my family and friends! The only regret I have is that I did not purchase one sooner. The only disadvantage I can see is where I will store the cans if I purchase more than four. They aren't stackable, but I'd love to have a lot so I can bake them in my oven and make a large batch at once. Oh well, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it!.
I strongly encourage you to experiment with the baking can and her recipes, as well as your own!.
Use the same cans that we would have used in the past. It appeals to me. It was extremely effective!.
Wow! What a lucky break! Baking with these cans is a dream come true. For decades, I've baked in old 16-ounce coffee cans. Those coffee cans have seen better days, but I adore these Original Baking Cans! It's also simple to clean up after baking. Metal is solid and does not discolor with oven heat, and it conducts heat evenly. The absence of "rings" (a feature I miss from my old coffee cans) is the only disadvantage for me. It's also a little difficult to grip with pot holders when removing from a hot oven because of the smooth metal finish. Silicone pot holders, in my experience, perform better. These cans come highly recommended by me!.
