It's not here; it's just stuffed into a box with the magnetic base. The box had to be forced shut and secured with clear tape because it didn't fit. br>br>In all fairness, the magnetic base is exactly what you'd expect. However, it is a "package deal," and the entire package was a letdown. I was hoping for more for the price. Even my cheap calipers came with a case to keep them safe. Noga, you've got to step it up a notch! br>br>At this time, I have a low level of trust in this product. I'm still undecided about whether I'll have it replaced or return it and order something else; at this price point, I'm leaning toward the latter.
The product title claims a 176-pound holding capacity, but the description states that the mag base has a 70-pound holding capacity. I'd say 70 is the correct figure because it's so small. It's still a powerful weapon and more than adequate for a DTI. The bottom of the mag base is fairly level - a problem with less expensive bases The DTI included is a mitutoyo - a mitutoyo is a mitutoyo is a mituto The arm movement and face/dial rotation are both very smooth. The kit is of good quality. It is highly recommended.
It appears much larger in photographs than it actually is. br>br>Has no impact on the final product. I simply prefer the dials to be larger.
As usual, it's excellent; I'll buy it again.
Magnetic base that is extremely strong - The indicator moves in a smooth and consistent manner.
Graduation of one millimeter. It's all about the metric system. Graduation of one millimeter. This dual did not appeal to me at first. There isn't a better dial for sweeping in a drill than this one. I sweep the drills and there isn't a peep of noise coming from them!.
exact and consistent.
item is satisfactory.
