While there is a tiny edge on the tips of the gauges, that is not where I slide them into. The one thing I do have a complaint about is this edge at the top of the gauges. I have done 4 or 5 overheads on DD13 2020 engines and have had no issues. My finger was cut open by it. It is extremely sharp and I had to use gloves while using it. It is an amazing set with a wide range of options. This book is highly recommended. These are sold at the right price for mechanics, which would force them to purchase them.
