You can opt out of the oil if you don't like it

The same appears to be the case on many Amazon items where multiple variants appear on the same Amazon Additionally, reviews, Q&A's, and related content are interwoven. Customers who have verified purchases will see the "Size" in their reviews, but not in the Q&A section. It reads "size 3" when I bought it It measures 1". 26 blades are on the table starting with 0115" has been changed to 0. 001. It is "025". This is a 0 spaced sentence. The number 10005 is repeated until the number reaches When the spacing becomes zero, the number 003 becomes 003. This is "001". I would still refer to this set as a SAE set, even though its mm equivalents are clearly marked. My case involved a specific 0 that I wanted. The feeler has a 5mm diameter, and this has a 0 and 508 have the same meaning. The 0 will have to do, so I'll settle for 483 instead. As of now, 508 is the number. Following the 25 blade "size," which has pure mm spacing, I will order the 25 blade "size". Only the picture on the bottom shows the thickest item at exactly 1 inch in size no other information is provided. The SAE equivalent of this size is 00mm. Yes, they come with some oil on them as far as quality is concerned. In order to prevent corrosion, it is coated. You can dunk the oil in water if you don't like it – or the oil itself – sarcasm included There seems to be good quality in them. Any product that has a variety of sizes needs to be very careful when it comes to Q/A answers. It might be different from what you expected. I find it disappointing that Amazon does not have the vendor change the product details according to size. Especially for an item such as this where size matters so much.

I have a lot of questions about this deal
3/5

Deceptive pictures, these are inches, not mm. I was really aggravated when I got this and the blades were not mm increments as the picture suggests. There is no way you can The diameter of the object is 007. The diameter of the bullet is 008mm. In the pictures, you can see that the wheel measures 009mm. That's actually a measurement in inches. In the pictures I have included some details about the blades as well as a listing for what the blades are actually made out of on the back of the package. All of this information is not included in the description of the product. It's totally useless to me since I would need millimeter-sized increments, so I might as well toss it in the trash can. A deceptive description by this seller is a shame for Amazon and this seller. I dislike that the product itself has a cheap bolt and nut and the imprint measurements on each blade are hard to read.

The gauges on these are clearly NO GO
3/5

They are going back, so "No, they are not Machine tool operators all over the world are insulted by these feeler gauges. This makes them likely to be produced even in countries like India and China. The following are a few items that I'd like to address As a first point, the housing is very thin and has a cheap feel to it. As well as the feeler gauges, there are other issues with them. One of the reasons is that I personally would not want to slide them under any rocker arm for fear of upsetting the lapped surfaces. The 002" less ground surfaces are so rough they run across the direction they are used in, so the surface grain would resemble a 2000-grit file. There are also a fair number of gauges with detectable burrs on their leading edges (I suppose this is because they are stamped out of sheet metal). The ground is not only a primary source of water The 002" area is fairly rough, but there is a burr (easily found with your finger nail) on the forward edge, which would need to be stoned off on a pretty large number of And as if that wasn't enough, the laser engraving is just laughably bad. The etching on many of the gauges was very faint, so you had to use a flashlight to even make out the numbers. Even when you buy them locally for about half the cost of Amazon, they're still overpriced This particular tool is not recommended, and you should look for another model.

Guitar work is a breeze with this tool! Although I cannot say for sure that the measurements are 100% accurate, I can say that this is an inexpensive tool that can definitely do the job
5/5

This was bought for measuring the string action (height) on guitar and bass necks and adjusting them accordingly. Visually, I am unable to come up with a more accurate way to convey this. There is an oil/lubricant coating on the blades at first, and it is a little annoying, but I assume that's because these blades need to go through oil to separate.

I like this unit because it has a guitar jack
5/5

The price is very good here, and you can use it for a wide variety of setups. A new trick I learned is, whatever gauge your high string E is, that is the relief you should get at the 7th fret of low E with the capo at 1st fret and a bit of tension holding the neck and body together (usually somewhere around 17th In case you have one, please let me know. Aim for an A with the 009 gauge up top. Relief has been provided in that area since 009. It's good to have such a set of tools at your disposal.

I found it overkill for what I needed, but it was still useful
4/5

As someone who has adjusted nozzle heights on 3D printers with a piece of paper for years, I decided it was time to make the switch to Having settled on a zero, I will be submitting an application today. Since I chose a gauge that had 05" points, I could not afford to pay more money for a set that has fewer points that may be of equal quality to the points In the end, I bought it. This set often just sits out with the 0 most of the time, so it does nothing. A 005" gauge is in my arsenal and ready to use as soon as Recently, I assisted my father with some engine and transmission work on his 1968 Z/28 Camaro, and since part of the engine flywheel had to be replaced, we had to shimm the starter motor to put it in the preferred location. By using these gauges, we assessed whether the clearance between the motor pinion and the flywheel teeth was the correct amount. As a result, even though I rarely need the variety of gauges in this set, I am glad I had it with me when I assisted with the repair on the.
