Selected User Reviews For Brown & Sharpe TESA 0560013 Depth Measuring Foot with Locking Screw for 6"/150mm Caliper, 75mm x 6mm Measuring Face
It performs as expected. The caliper bar's slot is perpendicular to the base, which is flat. Grind patterns are attractive, but the edges aren't sharp and aren't well chamfered. Although I understand why you didn't want an edge break on the reference surface, it would have been nice on the edges you hold. There are no markings on it either, such as the model number or the B. It came in a plastic bag with both the S and the S logos on it. Overall, it's a good tool that will do the job, but it doesn't have the same level of attention to detail as a premium brand like B&H.
I purchased the Brown. Sharpe, number five. At the same time as I received the Brown, I received the 60013 depth measuring foot. Stainless steel, 6 in. , Sharpe 00510050 Caliper with a long, metric dial. The caliper is housed in a high-impact plastic case with molded foam on the inside, which has been cut to fit this Brown caliper. I have a Sharpe depth measuring foot that I find extremely useful. This is a well-made accessory that looks great on the Brown. Sharpe 00510050 dial caliper converted to dial depth gauge.
I have CAL IP67 calipers. However, because the edges were sharp, I used a diamond stone to protect myself.
As advertised, this fits the 6" Brown and Sharpe Caliper. It's the fifth item. 60086 is a three-digit number. 35" x . 3". However, it will not fit in the cutout provided by Brown and Sharpe in the case. If you're bothered by this, you'll want to order item 5. 60013 It measures 75mm x 6mm, or approximately 3"x, and is silver rather than black. 25 inches in length. It'll be okay!.
You can't go wrong with this tool because it is of excellent quality.
It is something I use on a regular basis. I wish the one for their 12" calipers was still in production.
a fantastic addition.
Work efficiently.
