06 off. The tool's accuracy left me a little disappointed. I wasn't expecting much, but with a score of 3, I was pleasantly surprised. It has six extensions installed. 06- 07 off. It was simple enough to figure out how to make it work, but I wasn't expecting it to be so far off. It isn't in your possession. 005 with the extensions, without a doubt. It can still be used to measure engine cylinders.
The gauge's setup appears to take longer than anticipated, and certain bore sizes necessitate the use of a small set of spacers. These spacers are easy to misplace. br>The dial indicator worked well, but the measurement head action was a little coarse in comparison to Starret. br>In addition, the tool has a plastic guard over the dial indicator head that prevents access to the dial lock and is in the way.
After some use, I'll double-check the dial indicator's precision and the unit's construction. At this point, the unit was found to be in good working order. br>br> I'm glad I chose this outfit; there are a lot of low-cost items that look similar but don't have the same specifications as this one.
It all appears to be in order. It appears to be working well. However, I have yet to do much with it.
After some time, it may slip a little, so double-check with your caliper every now and then.
Just keep in mind that you won't be able to use these unless you have dial calipers.
This is what I'm using on an engine block, and it's working well.
