Why isn't there any Accusize branding on the set they sent me, and it's just cut-out? numbers and tape on the outsides?

And many of them demand that we do not put our logo on any of the products so that they can print or engrave their logos on the products and sell them under their company or brand name. Will the acuusize gauge work on a twin cam Harley Davision for checking the main shaft run out?

No, this is a bore gauge, not a run out gauge; it simply measures the diameter of the hole.

When measuring a 2 1/2" bore, do you remove the Guide Device wheels? On the smaller sizes, they won't let the contact point touch the bore side. ?

You'll need the guide, and there should be another in the box that can help you out.

Made of the highest quality Chinasium! She's a little crusty, but she'll suffice for the average homegamer (like me) who just wants to double-check dimensions

If you're careful, you can probably get it to within /-. 001". br>br>Another thing to keep in mind is that The anvils aren't carbide-tipped in any way. Based on this, I might return it.

I'm not a fan of how accurate the extensions are. If you don't set the dial after each extension change, your measurements will be greater than. 02 off. Witch appears to be an excessive amount of work for me. You should be able to simply add extensions, check for accuracy, and make minor adjustments once the dial has been set up. That's a significant difference of 02 points. You might want to spend a little more and get something much better. It will work fine if you use it for the same size every time; however, this is my first bore gauge, so who am I to say. I know that I can make new extensions with my lathe and change them without moving Guage. Sad because I enjoy accusing people, which is why I chose this brand and hoped for the best.

So far, I've had great success with this method. Despite the fact that I can't seem to get the tool to work with the protective plastic cover, I've had good results without it. The assembly instructions could have been a little clearer.
