How long is the warranty, what kind of warranty ?

The answer is yes, I'm sure. The tool allows me to measure brake rotors without having to remove the wheel from the vehicle. It is my job to work on cutaways for Ford. As the vehicle is in the air, I am able to measure the rotors from the rear side without removing the wheels. By sticking out the caliper, I can measure both the thickness of the pad and the thickness of the handle. I can read my vehicle's voltage more quickly using this than the old dial micrometer, but it may not work on all vehicles. The low profile makes it easier to measure the gap between backing plates. With a push of a button, you can switch between metric and English. It's very nice to have mine.

You can save a lot of time with this! It was a necessity for me to consistently remove wheels from vehicles for brake inspections, but now with this jewel, I can measure rotors without removing wheels. With a HOLD button built in, it will record your measurements if you have to remove the micrometer to read them when they aren't large enough to read on the micrometer. It's simple to calibrate and use, and even comes with a HOLD button. One of these should be in every mechanic's toolbox. EDIT

Here's a suggestion for an additional product - pair this micrometer with Lisle 81850 brake pad gauge. In the future, it will no longer be necessary to remove wheels to check brakes.

I highly recommend it as a time saver

Rather than removing wheels to measure brake rotors, I am able to measure them with this tool. This method really only works on alloy wheels with large gaps between the backing plates, and backing plates cannot be too close to the brake In the service industry, time is money, so this is an affordable and worthwhile investment. I would like to make a brief observation. This is a very high quality item and I expected it to be cheap and flimsy due to the long rod that sticks out. However, it is extremely sturdy and built very well.

As a master technician in a flat rate shop, I deal with a lot of work. By not having to take the wheels off unless I must, I have drastically reduced my time on the bench. This product is highly recommended, I was on the fence about buying it for a long time but I can assure you that you will thank yourself in the long run if you buy it. Think of the savings you could make. The number 2 or the number. The ticket, which costs $3 a piece, works out to be quite cheap. It's just a matter of doing.

An easy-to-use tool that is both small and sturdy

It looked as if the camera was able to measure brake rotors through the rim from the pictures. Measurements can be done without taking off the wheel, but you'll still have to lift the vehicle or reach behind the tire to access the rims and rotors. Quite a neat and compact tool for about eight to ten inches in size My girlfriend's dress is about 10 inches long (I didn't Having used it twice (since I got it today), I find it handy and I do not have to zero it every time I grab it like cheaper ones do. gave it one star because the tool was jammed together between the two sides of the carrying case, and I had to force it open in order to inspect it. There is no way I can determine whether this affects my reading, as I don't have the most precise tools to compare the reading.

Besides, it has a hold feature which lets you press it when you don't have a good look at the screen and your work will be saved

Almost every day, I use this at work. It has a large screen and fits into tight spaces. It also has a hold feature, so if you don't want to keep a good look at the display, you can press it two or three times to save the reading, and you just press it again to reset. Professional technicians can't live without this. It is easy to zero out tips since they have a flat point.

The wheels do not need to be removed! The tool is the lowest profile on the market, enabling technicians to take measurements with the wheels mounted on the hubs

It also has a freeze button so that you can remove the tool and write down the readings at any time. It will save you time and money on brake inspections, and is at least half the price of tool truck brand rotor gauges. Use it on both front and back wheels.
