EMI Deluxe EKG Caliper and EKG ruler Combination Set EKR-453

It took me a long time to buy my first pair of calipers, but they worked perfectly. It was something I should have done as soon as I realized I needed EKG interpretation in a class, and I encourage every student to do so. There is a handy quick reference on the ruler for all the pieces of basic EKG waveforms, and this can be used to measure both width and height. My ruler includes a feature that has an instant result for any heart rate, and I have yet to figure out how to use that feature, or else this one piece of the ruler is incorrect. This is the only reason I held back one star, because I was very happy with the quick reference list and I had wanted the calipers I still value the purchase for its convenience, speed, and affordability, as well as its primary purpose for classroom use.

Rhythm Strips were not required to be available, but they are extremely helpful if you wish to get serious about learning them. br>I'm happy that I bought it and I'm glad that I did. There is one thing worth mentioning As we mentioned, we received our ECG Textbook with a measuring tool of a 3" measurement and this is actually as I am already used to the 3", but learning to use the 2" is not a big deal. It's like learning how to operate a different machine at every hospital or clinic, because nobody uses the same one at every location.

My favorite feature about the ruler is its own skin, and how the whole thing fits back into the I would be stressed out if I lost or lifted a product of a quality I could perform with and was not too costly to lose.

This is so awesome! Using them every shift to interpret ECGs is one of the many benefits of my new position as an ICU Nurse. I find these pads very easy to use and they're small enough to keep in my scrub pants You got a good deal there!.

My paramedic professor once asked a working paramedic while I was in paramedic school if he ever used his caliper on a call. As if I were from Mars, he looked at me. In fact, since I am a paramedic in the field, I keep one of these calipers in my "quick kit" bag with the things I like to carry around when I am on the job. Even though I don't often use it, I think it's useful to have a caliper on hand for someone who prides himself on ECG interpretation. My phone number was taken off a call, and I'm ordering another one right now. Yes, it is possible to get by without one. I believe that one can draw hash marks on a piece of paper in order to measure distances. That time when you're out bouncing down a road, trying to interpret a subtle regular rhythm- A caliper sure comes in handy when making an irregular decision or testing out P waves to determine whether or not you have complete heart block.

As for this specific model, it's nice. The protective cap stays on the device. More ergonomic than the other styles are the ones with the ball at the top. Another benefit to having the ruler in your pocket is that it is easy to use. When you're wondering if this is worthwhile purchasing, you should consider how convenient it will be to have them so much later. It's going to look like you were born to do cardiology!.

This set of calipers is excellent for capturing EKG measurements. I appreciate the included ruler, too. I found them to be easy to use, easy to store, and easy to store. This is a company I would recommend.

To date, I still haven't found calipers that I like to purchase. My favorite pair is a pair I borrow from our charge nurse, which she's had for 20 years. Her memory is failing her and she cannot recall where she got them or what brand they are. This is one of four sets I've bought over time.
