The product has been used to cover a boat floor in the past. You can find images of the project on my website. However, I do not normally recommend it for flooring, especially the painted variety. It will not hold up to heavy items being dragged As long as the only thing on the rack is tennis shoes or tires, and the rack is well mounted to a solid floor, this should be okay. Putting your feet on the outside of your car door and walking will wear the paint off over time. It is a high-quality paint, but would not last long under abrasion.

The bar is still being worked on, but you can see the progress so far. It has a blue protective covering still on it. Although it is going to be bright outside once the clear gets peeled away, the black bar top, black chairs, and a black mini beer fridge will conceal a lot of light. There are two things I would like to point out. The box is rolled up so that when the item is taken out, it will have a curved shape. Trying to roll it back the other way to get it as flat as possible did not work. It led to some difficulties when trying to attach the entire sheet as a single unit to the wall. It ended up coming out straight with no waves after finding the good stuff (locktite power grip 8X). By the way, don't try liquid nails. This is awful. The rest of the stuff I have in front of me will make it interesting. You should also install some strip lighting under the bar top so that the bar will look a lot sexier at night. Hopefully I'll be able to post another pic once the project is In general, diamond plates are worth spending the extra money on. Aside from that, you are going to have to search pretty hard to find it elsewhere for a price like this.
