No, because this is a soft aluminum. If you require aluminum, a 6061 with a T6 temper is a better option. This product, in my opinion, is better suited for decorative and minor functional purposes. It's fairly malleable, has a nice perforated finish, and cleans and polishes up easily.
Using snips, it's quite simple to cut. It served as a small speaker grill for me. Although I did not use it in a bend situation, it should be easily bendable with the right equipment.

They're simple to cut with a jigsaw and look great as vent covers for an electric bicycle's battery box. Bends easily, but is thick enough to maintain its shape even when subjected to moderate pressure. I received a 2 in my case. This material is used to hold all of the excess wiring into the front of a battery box, and it measures 5 inches wide by 8 inches tall. It's thicker than most perf aluminum you see, heavier duty, and very easy to shape. I used a ball peen hammer to domed it a little (to make it convex) and a piece of circular silver solder to finish the circular edge. And there you have it: a custom fan grate in any size I want.
