I almost did not write this posting since I do not dislike companies, but I had to as this is As someone who has been cutting carbon fiber for over six years, I know how to do the job. The machine I use is very stable and has proven its effectiveness many times over. The bits I use are the correct ones, so I know it's not a tooling issue. It is the most difficult material to cleanly cut from this supplier. A year ago, I acquired some smaller sheets having a 2mm matte finish and could see immediately from the weave appearance that something was off. A few 50x50 parts were cut from it, but they didn't have great edges. My horrible hair condition is a result of frayed hairs all over my body. I would say this is similar to a loose manufacturing process where not enough compression is done As a result, I ordered a different brand of the material, and the material was excellent. A machine with the same tools, the same settings, and the I only had to clean those parts with a toothbrush after they came off my table with crisp, clean edges. As this material has hairs, I had to use a file to clean the edges, and I had to scrape the parts and take the hits. I would like to order four sheets of material for a large batch of parts a year later. This supplier came back to mind and I second guessed myself, maybe I made a mistake when I used it previously. It became apparent to me once I got the material that it wasn't. It looked again as if the weave was weak, not as tight as it was elsewhere. I had a return of my fears after cutting my first chassis for an RC customer. I installed a brand new diamond style carbide bit on a brand new spoil board and noticed that the dust generated was very heavy instantly. With a vac head, it did not clean itself out of the cut track as other materials did. Various strands of hair were sticking out from the top edge of the chassis, which has come off. The work I have is four sheets of 400x500 and I have more than I need right now. The chassis was no longer relevant because it does not reflect the quality of product I have built my company I am unable to sell any material that I obtained out of this piece even after filing and sanding it to possibly save it. This brand is suitable for a hobbyist cutting one-off parts, and having time to sand and clean edges. For someone wanting to have parts emerge virtually clean from their machine, I would not recommend it. I have used many other brands, and they are all made in China. Regardless of what manufacturing process is used to make these brand sheets, the process should be reviewed A process that is evaluated and altered is not a good one. In the next few days I will add more pictures to this review, so you can see the specific complaints I have and other parts from other manufacturers. Right now I still have 3 left that are only good for prototype parts. This is not the kind of quality material I can publish the name of my company on.

With the price you pay, you get a piece of carbon fiber of decent enough quality and relatively level. *1 was the most common measurement on the panel. There was a corner which approached *1 although it was 52mm in diameter. I find it good enough for small projects and several other uses, and at the price I'm not inclined to take it away from its star. I cut a dozen or so miscellaneous RC car parts from these panels and the accuracy was more than adequate. My image came with no errors, but it was only close to being The sheet comes with a protective film that can be removed once the cutting is done to keep it.

I didn't expect this surface to be as flat as I hoped but it seems close to what I required. In addition, I was able to use it as a build plate for my mesh bed leveling 3D printer. Despite the product description, the product isn't what it seems. There is a statement that states Japan is the source of carbon fiber. I have a carbon fiber product from China made of Japan! This is very important because it clearly states NAME MADE IN CHINA!.

Wet and dry sandpaper of 1000 grit can be used to polish or smooth edges.

It's really cardboard with a weave printed on it, not carbonfiber. I've ordered a lot of carbonfiber from the Internet, but this is definitely plastic. I can say that it is not plastic, but I find the weave barely visible, and it seems more flat and 2 dimensional than other carbonfiber panels I have It does have a matte finish, but it just looks really To be able to see any weave at all, you need to be in lots of light and up close. It should work though, and the shipping was fast as well.

Rather than block the fan holes on my Dell XPS 13, I use something like this to keep them open while using the laptop on the couch or my lap. Overheating on the XPS 13 is a thing of the past thanks to this. I am using this sheet under my XPS 13 and it is lightweight and fits my laptop perfectly.

As far as carbon fiber sheets go, they appear to be extremely good. My oil pump needs a good seal, and this pipe has the stiffness I need. In addition to making a cover for an oil pump on a Honda H22 engine after deleting the balance shaft, I used this carbon fiber in order to make a cover for an oil filter. In the event of any problems with the oil withstanding or with any other aspect, I will let you know.
