I used a metal cutting blade with a TPI of 22 and it worked perfectly. However, it is extremely difficult on the saw blade!
When it's bent, it doesn't flex nearly as much as aluminum. If I tried to bend it, I'm sure it'd shatter!
Of course, carbon fiber material 100% 3K of course of course of course of course of course%

Perfectly square piece, consistent pattern, strong, light, square clean edges No splintersbr>Tipsbr>If you need to remove the sharp edges, wet sand it or set up a fan because the dust is nasty. I found that 400 and or 600 grit sand paper worked well to break the edges without rounding them off too much. br>If you need to sand any contours, fill a container with water, add a drop or two of dish washing This will make the sandpaper less rigid, making it easier to sand cutouts, corners, and other difficult areas. br>I had good success bonding pieces together with CA glue (super glue). I used sandpaper to scuff up the areas I was gluing and cleaned up any dust.
I believe it is overpriced for such a small amount of material. It does, however, machine very well and has no rough edges. It was cut to size with a table saw, and the required opening for mounting the instrument was cut out with a hole saw. It looks fantastic. I had planned to make the part out of 1/16" aluminum and paint it black with a "wrinkle" finish. The carbon fiber material was chosen because it has a nicer finish that does not require touch-ups or refinishing once purchased.
I'm using two of these panels to make a robot frame. They were dimensionally accurate, perfectly smooth, and ideal for my needs. I intend to purchase additional items in the future. The image depicts how I intend to use it in CAD.
For my Monoprice Maker Select V2 3d printer, I needed a carbon fiber sheet to create a new carriage plate. I haven't cut it yet or installed it, but it's exactly what I needed.
precisely what I was looking for.
As stated in the advertisement.
It was obvious that it was CNC cut and made from a high-quality carbon fiber sheet.
