Over the years, I've built a lot of canoes, paddleboards, and campers out of fiberglass. The best equipment I've ever used came from a marine supply store, but I had to pay top dollar for it, plus shipping. I've also ruined some projects by purchasing low-cost items (from a well-known bidding website). I've been so pleased with this fiberglass after experiencing both extremes. It came wrapped several times in thick plastic and rolled around a cardboard tube. It was simple to unroll and cut with regular scissors. Its ability to wet out is my favorite feature. I use a plastic body filler spreader to lay the fabric directly on my project (which is currently 4X8 sheets of polystyrene foam). I pour my mixed epoxy into a large area and spread it out quickly. It has saturated the cloth in about 10 seconds and is mostly transparent at this point. After that, I apply a little more pressure and keep spreading. The fiberglass hasn't unraveled and is still in tact. This is a 6 oz cloth, and it's as strong as I expected it to be (once cured). I think this is my favorite fiberglass cloth out of all the ones I've tried over the years, and I'm currently using 1 to 1 marine epoxy resin from Amazon as well. They've both done a fantastic job on my current project.
