Questions & Answers
It would be bulletproof if there were enough layers bonded together. However, I would not want to try it at home.
This fabric has a level II weaving parameter, which means the weave is extremely loose. A higher quality of weaving, such as level IV or VI, is required for stab proofing. To take the shape of a bullet proof jacket, it must be formed using multiple layers and a different process.
You'd have to seal the edges and find a way to keep the heat in. However, for pot holders, this is probably not the best material.
It would fray if you tried to use it. It was designed to be epoxy-coated.

br>fabric looks good, total length hasn't been measured but appears to be correct. i did underestimate what would be required to cut the material (duhhhh. ) It has KEVLAR), but only one of the seven or eight pairs of good/quality shears or scissors I own does a decent job. Unless you buy a pair specifically for cutting this material, make sure you have a sharp pair of scissors with small serrations and are tight (no slop between the two halves/when pushed apart only opens the tiniest of gaps at the tip). Taking them apart and carefully stoning them can sometimes help. Milwaukee 9" shop scissors (Milwaukee 48-1) were the only ones I had that worked for me, even with one side taped. 4040), but if I had to buy something, I'd get the best tool for the job.
The blue isn't as vibrant as it appears in the pictures, but it's still a good product. However, it still appears to be attractive.
