The distance between the tip of the blade and the far end of the grip, including the carabiner, is 7. 5 inches. The blade is approximately two inches long. I hope this information is useful.
Thank you for getting in touch with us. They can be autoclaved, which is a good thing.
I work in an emergency room that specializes in trauma. As sharp as it was on the first day
Thank you very much for your query. You'll need to order one pink and one tactical black, sorry. There is only one color in both packs.

Heavy jeans were cut through like a nylon stocking with these shears! I've used a few different brands throughout my career, and these are sharper and more durable than any pair I've purchased for twice the price! I bought a two-pack to share with a new EMT I'm mentoring, and they were overjoyed! I'm confident that these will hold up to any task I throw at them; the carabiner is a nice bonus, but I'd recommend them just for the blade and the warranty. br>br>I received an email from the vendor thanking me for my purchase, which stated: br>"Keep in mind that the carabiner and rivet on your shears are covered by a lifetime warranty. I'd like to hear from you if you've had any issues with the shears, their carabiner, blades, rivets, or even their size! You have the option of responding to this email or contacting Amazon customer service directly. "br>br>I'm thinking of getting another pair just to replace my spare. I'm excited to give you an update 6- a year from now.
These are some excellent EMT-related resources. shears to cut type Very incisive. A word of caution. This is excellent value for money at this price. The seller did a great job of checking in with them to see how they were doing. However, I've never had a reason to be unhappy with any of them. The addition of the carabiner is a nice touch. I'd say these are a tad on the small side. But, hey, it's preferable to being too tight! There's not much you can do about it - They're only held together by a single rivet. But, again, I can't complain at this price. The construction is excellent. The Leatherman Raptor Shears ($70) would be my choice if I wanted a SUPER premium set with more features. Look them over. But, hey, $15 for two pairs of these isn't too shabby. So far, they appear to be quite tough, so I'm satisfied. I would suggest it.
Other members of my team have borrowed them during trauma situations and have been surprised at how well they cut through clothing with minimal effort; while they appear to be inferior to some of the more expensive looking types, they are actually FAR better and much less expensive! The clip is an added bonus; most of my scrubs have a small loop on which I can attach it. The handle is just right, and the shears are simple to clean. I've had mine for about two years and they're still as sharp as the day I got them. These are excellent trauma shears, which I strongly recommend to first responders and trauma teams.
These sheers were purchased as a backup plan. I have plenty of pocket knives in case I need to cut a seat belt or the clothes off a wounded person, for example. However, putting the sharp end of a knife against my skin, or the skin of someone else, when I'm high on adrenaline and in an emergency isn't a good idea. So these sheers are what I got. I bought two pairs with no expectations of getting much use out of them. The handles are well-made, firm, and comfortable for my average-sized hands. The clip is AMAZING, and it was the deciding factor in my decision to choose this model over others. It's tight and has a lot of spring. The blades are made of a tough metal that appears to be able to withstand a lot of pressure or regular use. They're in my truck, and I'm glad they're there. The second set is in the trunk of my wife's car. I'd buy more for my other relatives if they were as crazy about "preparation" as I am.
These are, without a doubt, the best shears I've ever purchased. They have a razor-like edge. You can almost feel them cutting themselves while you're cutting because they're so sharp. I really like how the handle has a carabiner. It's incredibly simple to secure it to your belt loop or to a bag. The company's customer service was also fantastic. They followed up with a few emails after my purchase to ensure that the shears were in good working order and that I was satisfied. I am without a doubt. I would recommend these to anyone looking for shears, and I would buy them again if the need arises.
The product is of high quality. These were only delivered to me a week or so ago. However, they appear to be of high quality, sharp, and the carabiner is a fantastic addition. In a variety of ways, this is a very useful tool. It's convenient to store them alongside my tourniquets in all of my first-aid bags. It is impossible to overestimate the value. My primary first aid kit includes a pair of Leatherman Raptors with retractors. These aren't as thick (or as sharp) as raptors, but they're still very useful. I cut a pair of denim pants in half to make shorts for my wife, and they sliced through the denim like butter with a hot knife. They're a great deal because you get two pairs for the price of one.
