Questions & Answers

Does the quality match up to your expectations?

These are amazing! I love them! The quality of these is superb and I regularly use mine, and it's been 2 years since I got mine, and my coworkers are very happy with them as well!

Are you able to cut a cast with this?

I removed the casts from my water wrap. There is just one problem with the old school 1/2 inch plaster casts they are You should seek professional help when you need this kind of assistance. As a safe and effective tool, a Vibra Saw should be used.

Is it possible to cut through a plastic license plate holder with this, or would it have to be a very tricky job? Is it possible to cut by hand with scissors (regular ones won't)?

The thickness and hardness of the license plate holder determine whether it is a thick or a thin one. It will not be possible to cut something very thick with them. Denim that has been rolled up would be good (broad and thick). A penny (copper or zinc), however, would be better (hard but The plastic is very hard and fragile, and it has a hardness of &gt60 Considering it is 25" thick, I do not think it would be possible for them to cut it. They may crack it, but likely not cut it. I don't like what I see).

Purchasing this product was a good decision
5/5

The first two weeks have been smooth, The first time I used them, I was bored on a one to one observation shift, so I started cutting things at work to compare them with some higher end scissors I have used in the past. These scissors worked very well. My chubby fingers were not stressed at all as they quickly and easily cut through a large roll of coban, a roll of medical tape, felt and velcro tabs on pull/slide sheets, and a washcloth. I'm likely to purchase these again after I lose them like I did with all my other ones. I love it!.

I love it
5/5

We just had to replace the scissors we had been using because the bandages on our dog's leg would not pass through the new ones. There was a good chance he would have died if he tried to get under the old bandage. Ordered these, they arrived in just one day, and did what I wanted. There is sufficient substance to get through thicker gauze as well as being sharp enough to cut through them. In order to prevent skin contact, the blade is protected with a tip protector.

I really like this size
5/5

My work in an ER requires me to operate these, so the size is good. The shears are big enough to cut off clothes quickly in an emergency. This scrub cap weighs less than 1. 5 pounds so it's easy to carry in my pocket without adding any bulk.

I wouldn't call it super sharp, but it's not too bad either
4/5

There aren't too many things you can say about The bandage scissors we have in the hospital aren't super sharp, but they make the job easier. They are better than the disposables we use in Very accurate color match to the picture, I really like that. Rather than the rounded blade shown in the picture, they have a plastic protective cap on the tip of the blade, rather than the rounded blade shown in the picture. My overall impression of them is positive and I recommend them.

Price is okay, I bought them a few weeks ago, and after waiting for them to arrive for about a week, my post office told me that the postage was not paid, and I would have to pay it to pick them up or they would send them back
4/5

It wasn't a problem for me because honestly I was not bothering about the unpaid postage and paid it and then went about going After using them the next day, I had to cut a splint off of a patient and while they seem sturdy, the blade seems choppy/cuts seem jagged, they don't seem to cut as smoothly as other ones I have used in the past. In the end, they're a decent pair of scissors for the price, although I will probably spend a little more to get a better pair.

There is a feeling of rust
3/5

The shoes are fine and they work well, but they feel like an old and rusted pair for a brand new pair. You have to put a lot of effort into it, it is not easy. When I try to cut, even after putting oil on them, they still feel like they have rust in the middle. Although I was gonna return, it took them 2 weeks to get here, so I guess I'll just have to deal with it.

The perfect work shirt
5/5

Having said that, I know I can rely on these scissors as a nurse in an acute care hospital for the fact that they are sharp enough to cut well. Since I carry these around in my scrub pocket, the safety edges at the bottom ensure that I don't get stabbed in the stomach when they are.

I like the size of the lip balm
5/5

It does not look bulky like others. I can easily fit them into my scrub pockets because they're so sharp. This brand has a nice tip guard unlike another brand that I tried which had great reviews, but the other kind was too long and didn't have one like this one. You need a tip guard.
