This is a highly recommended item! A pair of these scissors should be owned by every healthcare professional due to their sharpness and durability.
These were ordered for my wife as a Christmas gift, as she is a licensed practical nurse who loses them constantly. Although I haven't opened them yet since they're wrapped and sitting under our tree, I will say that they are much larger than the average pair of They are huge! I am shocked at their size. It will be interesting to see what she thinks and if she will have any issues with their size.
These scissor are sturdy and I use them every day in the ER. It's definitely something I'd buy again.
My job as a nurse required me to have these. In my opinion, they are an inferior choice. In spite of the blade being very sharp, you have to use the scissors with your fingers hurting. It's really hard to separate the blades even though I haven't yet taken them to work.
Is the quality of the materials mediocre? So, I guess. As you can see, I picked these up for lionfish hunting, so that I could remove the spines from the captured ones. I also liked the fact that they had a carabiner handle so I could clip them anywhere. The pair we had with us actually broke at the pivot point within a week of being used, leaving only one blade, but both handles. It was a bit of a bummer at the time. I understand we get what we pay for, but it was a bit of a bummer.
A surprising amount of quality is packed into these scissors. Keeping my scissors in a vivid color is helpful since I tend to lose them. One drawback of the clip is that it won't hold well and it is inconvenient to use. My clippings fall out so easily that I simply place them inside my scrub pockets rather than clip I liked the way they cut. It is possible to buy.
It's great for work, easy to carry while I am on the road. I really like that I can clip it to my waistband and not have to keep it I can easily locate them if I shove them in a drawer or bag since they are very bright colors.
Despite the fact that they are sharp, they actually cut through clothes! Using clips to attach it to my scrubs with no pockets if they don't have It is not too difficult for them to move around. I notice occasionally that they pop off if I crouch, but overall, I think they're great.
