They're sutures with curved needles, similar to the ones I used in the dental office, but not quite as sterile. They're great for do-it-yourself projects. Stitchers with self-awareness [to] yourself I've been inflicting back yard lacerations since I retired, and I've done it a lot of times. Save yourself the embarrassment of a trip to the ER.
