It is, in fact, quite simple. Allow to dry naturally after washing in cold or warm water.
This suturing kit is intended for medical or veterinary students, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who are in practice or training. It's also great for practicing before starting a residency or a full-time job in medicine.
Yes. Our suture pad is extremely long-lasting and can be reused several times. We also use recyclable materials that do not obstruct the recycling process and can be reused if properly cared for.

First and foremost, let me state unequivocally that I am not a medical professional. I am, however, a mother of two children. One is usually wary, while the other is not. is NOT. Finding a way to practice emergency repair was reassuring because my younger one enjoys RUNNING the fine line between doing something almost dangerous and actually giving me a heart attack. The kit had everything I needed. Suture material was already attached to the needle, and it was packaged in small individual packets to prevent tangles. After watching a few YouTube videos, I'm certain I could throw a few neat, clean, and well-executed sutures if necessary. So long as I didn't have to perform them on my own children, that is. OMG. It makes me feel a little uneasy just thinking about it now. If my husband, on the other hand, required them, I would be happy to provide them. So, that man will get well-practiced, neat, and clean sutures! I would strongly recommend this kit, and if or when I run out of the sutures that come with it, I will place another order with them. It's now just a matter of sending my husband up a shaky ladder to clean the gutters. (Or I'll just send him to the bathroom in the dark with all the dirty laundry that "missed" the basket and is now strewn across the floor) I'll give you an update later with HIS assessment of how well the practice paid off!.
br>br>Introduce yourself to the world of br>br>br>br>b I'm a medical student, and I bought this to use as a practice tool before starting clinical rotations. Advantages: br>br> br>Durable material that leaves only minor traces after the suture is removed. br>It includes everything you'll need to get started, including a driver, suture needle and material, and rabbit tooth forceps. To suture new lines, use a scalpel to cut lines and a scalpel to make new lines. br>Nice kit to keep everything together; honestly, I could put it in the doctor's bag and practice while waiting for surgery. If you feel so inclined. br>Decent steel tools that do the job, just like the equipment we used at school. br>Color and stretch are layered in this material. It's possible that this is more realistic. When practicing on the kit, the pad remains still. It's not always possible to say that about patients. br>There's no need to anesthetize or deal with pigs' feet to practice. It's also better than banana peels or hot dogs. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. It's exactly what I was hoping forbr>- You could argue that there isn't enough stretch because it won't perch on the edges unless the sutures are kept close together. br>br>Decent price on a decent set for anyone learning to throw a few stitches.
At the moment, I'm working on suturing skills. To put what I've learned in school into practice, I usually go to the local grocery store and buy meat or bananas. I had to deal with blood from the animal flesh, which made the practice a bit messy. br>br>Then I was told that I could find some good quality suturing kits online, so I did some research to see if there were any products that would allow and assist me in practicing suturing. I'm glad I discovered the Alcedo suturing kit on Amazon because it was reasonably priced. br>br>I was pleased with the product when it arrived on time. Everything I needed was in the packaging, which was fantastic. The suture pad was of a good size and almost realistically resembled human flesh. It had simulated wounds and more space to allow for more cuts. br>br>Overall, the product is excellent, and I have been using it for quite some time. I would highly recommend this kit!.
The only way this kit could be improved is if it popped you when you made a clear mistake. Jk. It's ideal because it includes videos and even more links to help you learn, as well as a variety of cut patterns and materials. I have skin glue on hand for most cuts, but I decided to brush up on my skills just in case. I'll order another set with more sterile parts because this is only for my bug out bag. It's great for students or anyone who just wants to figure out how to put Humpty back together.
I did a lot of research on all of the options out there, and this product seemed to provide a good amount of sutures, silicone pad, tools, and travel size in a bag for a reasonable price. I can't speak to the silicone's durability yet, but it seems to hold repeat stitching of the same "wound" very well so far. I will say that if you place the needle too close to the edge and pull the suture too hard, the silicone will tear, but I imagine this is true of any silicone pad. I would recommend this book to any healthcare or veterinary students who may need to suture in the future. br>br>One of the tools in the first kit I ordered had a problem, and when I contacted customer service, they responded quickly and adequately, which I greatly appreciated.
This kit contains everything you'll need to learn how to suture. I know I needed a lot of practice prior to some of my rotations (especially surgery), and this kit is fantastic. My school provided us with a kit that appeared to be of good quality at the time, but it pales in comparison to this. It also comes with a nice bag in which you can carry everything you need if you want to practice somewhere other than your home. For students who need to learn or practice suture skills, this is without a doubt my first choice.
I'm a PA student who bought this to practice suturing, but every time you try to tie a suture, the skin rips apart. The tools are shoddy, and the Hemostats don't stay clipped and unclip all the time as you try to use them. It was a waste of money. Spend a little more to get a good one.
