Giving it three stars because it mostly succeeded in achieving its goal. My specialty is ophthalmology, and the skin required large needles to penetrate the red material, or else it would tear easily and not hold a suture. It worked fine for mechanics, and we were able to adapt it, but it was a poor representation of eyelid skin or corneal surface.

With the help of my supervising doctor, I've performed necropsies and sutures in the past. I bought this kit so that I could keep practicing with different types of sutures. This product did not meet my expectations, and I would not buy it again or recommend it to a friend. Underneath the outer «, there are foam pieces. the tissue » layer is extremely friable, and you can't practice suture placement properly if it falls apart and tears with every bite.
It arrived quickly and is suitable for the majority of knots. However, it's not the best place to learn intradermal patterns. The foam is on the bottom, and there are two layers on top.
Reasonably priced and delivered quickly! I will purchase from ASL in the future.
Ideal for simple sutures, these pads are small and portable. Because of the friction of the suture passing through the material, horizontal and vertical sutures are difficult.
