The price was a big factor in me buying these bearings, but we get what we My suspicions of the quality of the bearings were aroused before I installed because the hoses did not spin correctly when I spun them. In this bearing's construction, there is a small amount of plastic that I have not seen on any previous bearing. My application seems to be working, but time will tell if they hold up in the long run.

During an installation of a pottery wheel my hand held this product as a guide for the shaft. Considering that it came with an Allen key, it was convenient and the bearing is smooth to turn. base of the pillow block wasn't quite mounted perfectly so the bearing had to be altered. I was just off kilter by a tiny bit. Although the slight variation in setting could be compensated for by tapping it in, the variation was irrelevant for my use.
