In order to fix the outer race instead of having it float, you need to fix it first. You need to drill a couple of set screws into the outer race, but how deep can you go?

This race is about 3/8in. thick, and has a hardened surface and a fine thread set screw such as a 1/428. Unless you crank it as hard as it can be, you'll have problems.

Can you tell me how long the mounting holes are from centre to centre?

It is 4 meters between the center and the edge. The slot is an inch wide and about an eighth deep

To reload my firearms, I built my own wet tumbler using these block bearings. have worked perfectly and I have not had a problem with them overheating or freezing up during run times of 3+ hours. I would still buy these again for another project similar to this one, even though they weren't pressed in square and I had to adjust them myself to get my shafts to line up properly.

This product was bought for a project when I received it I found the bearings had quite a lot of movement, but I didn't need precision, so I was fine. It was the diameter of the inside that caused the problem. The diameter of the inside diameter of these rods is only , but I need them to fit a one inch shaft. The shafts had to be turned down to make them fit the 998, which required me to narrow the shaft.
