Selected User Reviews For Milwaukee 8975-6 11.6 Amp 570/1000-Degree Fahrenheit Dual Temperature Heat Gun
Milwaukee makes some of the best tools on the market. This heat gun may not have all of the bells and whistles of other brands, but it is extremely well constructed. It was purchased to replace a Milwaukee heat gun that I had purchased thirty years prior. Sometimes the most important quality is simplicity.
light and simple to use.
It performs admirably.
Milwaukee heat guns are always a good choice. This is the third time I've made a model like this.
Excellent work.
I bought this item for several of our maintenance workers because it is a great product.
This is fantastic.
For a wire harness manufacturer, I place orders for tools. We use heat guns a great deal more than the average person. For a long time, these heat guns were fantastic. The switch would be the first thing to go out if something went wrong. Milwaukee makes obtaining a warranty INCREDIBLY simple. However, in recent years, we've begun to rely on the warranty more and more. It's the heating element that's broken right now. Milwaukee appears to have tried to save money, but their efforts have lowered the quality of their tools to the point where they are no longer professional tools. Instead of skimping on the heating element and adding a thermister, Milwaukee should simply use the old heating element and replace it with a better switch. I'll switch back to these heat guns once you make this change, but until then, I'm using the Makita HG6530VK.
