Will this work on heat shrink with glue inside? I'm mostly doing 3/16 to 1/2" heat shrink. ?

Is there glue on the inside of the container? I'm not sure because I've never used them, but I have used them with heat shrink and soter inside and they worked great.

It's too cheap to be worth returning, but it's still expensive enough to be a waste

(SMOKE! There was an immediate plume of smoke when we turned it on, so it does not appear to be a safe product. Smoked lightly for a while longer (why would a heat gun smoke?). ) after the first use, albeit in a reduced amount. To top it off, the heat isn't very productive. Also, the only options for returning it are to stop somewhere and wait in line, either at a UPS or Kohl's (of all places?). It could be an Amazon issue, but in the past I've been able to return items via mail, so _()_/. It's too cheap to be worth the time it takes to return, but it's still too expensive to be a waste of money. br>br>There are guns that are less expensive and have more positive reviews. Don't be fooled by the low price into believing you're getting a good deal.

Check to see if it falls while it is turned on

It's inexpensive, but it produces a lot of heat, and the attachment allows you to control the temperature. It is simple to shrink. Just don't let the sucker fall to the ground. When I pulled it off the table while it was on, I lost a minute after unpacking. It landed on the ground, a spark flew off, and that was the end of it. I didn't try to disassemble it because I suspected it was a fuse. Another one was purchased. That has proven to be a successful strategy.

This method works well with wire heat shrinks

As described in the product description, I was able to melt both heat shrink. This heat gun generates enough heat quickly to complete the task at hand.
