368 lbs
This small diameter wire rope would most likely be insufficient for a sun shade, even if it was a small one. The effects of the wind can be significant. br>br>A wire rope with a larger diameter would be far superior.
It isn't covered in any way.
Most likely, but I needed a crimper/cutter tool because I had a $150 lamp hanging from the wires. You'll need a sharp cutter to get the ragged ends through the crimping pieces; otherwise, you'll be fighting them. Purchasing the tools does not cost a lot of money. But then I'm a tool nerd who insists on having the right tools for the job. It makes things a lot easier.

When compared to what I would have paid at the big box stores, I thought the price was extremely low. I'm very happy, and more importantly, my wife is as well.
I would not have taken the time to write a review for aircraft cable if I hadn't been asked. You'll know what it is if you've seen it before. The crimping pieces are included in the box, which is why I'm writing this review. I'd never used them before, but with the right crimping tool, they produce a far superior result than U-shaped wire. bolts. br>br>I'm glad I got one of these by accident because it made me want to try them out. I received the tool, and it was extremely simple to use, as well as attractive. It will not come loose, and it should last a very long time.
This is good wire, but you'll need something to cut it and crush the slides with. Both of these tasks were completed with a pair of lineman's pliers. br>br>After cutting the wire with the sharp part of the pliers, get it through the loops as soon as possible or it will fray. Allowing the spool to escape your control will cause the whole thing to unravel. When I'm finished, I make a notch in the spool to hold the wire. br>br>After you've gotten the wire through the loop, use the dull end of the pliers to crush it. Because they didn't know what crimping was, some of the reviews complained that the loops simply fell off. br>br>This is a very dependable wire; it takes a little more effort, but you can rest assured that your heavy paintings are safe.
It was used in the creation of some light-weight furniture. No complaints about the heavy-duty cable loops used around the house. When compared to what you'd get at a big-box store, you get a lot more for your money. I don't think I'll ever need to buy this again from a big box store. It's surprisingly thick for a 1/16" wire. I tried cutting it with linesman's pliers, but either mine were too dull or this wire was too strong. To get through it, I had to use shears, which is good news for light-weighting. security reasons on the job.
I used this wire rope to support string lights, and it's still going strong after a few weeks. I was pleasantly surprised by the line's strength and quantity for the price (which is significantly less than that of the big box stores). The key will be durability, and if anything goes wrong after a few months, I'll post an update. This type of stainless steel line should last for many years.
I've been looking for something to use with my clothesline wire, and this is exactly what I've been looking for. I haven't found anyone to put it up yet, but the last one completely stretched to the ground when I put a comforter on it and then broke. I wanted something similar to what my grandmother had, and this will do the trick. So happy.
I was able to easily crimp these, creating cables to secure items. There is nothing faulty or questionable about any of the components.
It appears to be extremely durable, weather resistant, and even includes crimps? It's a breeze to work with this person. It also has a nice appearance. It arrived in a flash.
