Questions & Answers
This wire rope was used to support communications cable over a 200-foot span from one pole to the next! I'm confident that if it does that, you won't have any problems with your application! Very powerful!
What you use to cut it depends on what you use to cut it. The best way to cut any cable is to solder the spot where you want to cut it and then use a dremel cutting disk to cut it. It takes a little longer, but it cuts and leaves an end that doesn't split the cables open like a pair of bolt cutters. The bolt cutter simply pinches and splits the ends of the bolt.
This is what I use to make wire rope thimbles. It is supported that we have a radius of less than an inch.

This is a fantastic offer! Even though it isn't stated in the product description, this is a 7x19 cable, which makes it nice and flexible. I needed to make two 122-foot cables, so I was concerned that the spool would only hold 250 feet, which was compounded by the spool's small size. However, after carefully measuring the cable I required, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I still had over 16 feet left! Think about it: 260 is calculated by multiplying 122 by 16! I even double-checked my measurements to ensure I hadn't missed anything. As a result, there are ten additional feet. br>br>In the end, this is an unbeatable deal at this price, especially with free Amazon Prime shipping.
I've had it for almost a year and it hasn't rusted or lost any of its strength. I'll buy it again.
This cable delivers exactly what it promises! It's both extremely durable and extremely adaptable. But (as should have been obvious), it's extremely difficult to cut.
Perfect in every way.
I haven't used the cable yet; I got the job done before it arrived.
I made a fist and slammed it shut. This wire has a tremendous amount of tensile strength. On a 30' by 30' section, I tightened it to hold chicken wire overhead.
So far, I'm happy with this product; now we'll see how it stands up to the elements.
This wire rope is of exceptional quality. It can be used for a variety of purposes. When you buy it in bulk like this, you can use it for almost anything. To make it worthwhile, you'll need to purchase a crimping tool, which can be found at Home Depot for only $30.
