There are no spools included. I used threaded rod as an axle to hold the plywood ends on after cutting two pieces of scrap plywood. It's a real annoyance.
I can o8 dds say that mine hasn't gotten hot yet.

It is not silicone wire, but it is adequate. The worst part is that the 500-person capacity isn't even close to being reached. There isn't a spool for foot roll! Unroll it carefully or you'll end up with a mess in no time. I made my own "spool" out of 3/4 pipe and a milk crate that I had on hand. Only because of the lack of spool did I give it three stars. I could see a 20, 50, or even 100 feet of this coming curled up without a spool, but no spool for 500 feet?.
I've read some of the negative reviews on this product, and the majority of them are due to the fact that it's not easily bendable and has overly tough insulation. That's what it's all about, "HELLO. " It has to be tough when making something for long-term outdoor use. You don't get prototyping wire for moving, reconnecting, and re-connecting things. This is the kind of stuff you wire up and leave for long periods of time, and it's badass. You'll need to change the way you handle it, lay it out, and crimp pins and sockets to it. You won't have to worry about it if you do it right, as well as how you attach it to lugs and other things. At least not for the time being. It's what my solar power system is powered by. It appears to be excellent material for that. The lack of a spool is only an issue with soft wire; for this, you'll need to put on gloves and pull the wire through your hand while forcing a reversed bend. It requires some effort and grip, but it is possible. It's made of tough wire, which is the price you have to pay for something that can withstand the elements.
This is what I needed to connect some more PV panels. The markings indicate that it is UV resistant, PV compatible, and suitable for direct burial, implying that it will last for a long time. Copper, not tin, is used as the conductor. It's packaged in a core-shaped box. It was easier to unroll and flatten out, even though it was tightly coiled for packaging. It was a perfect fit for my standard MC4 connectors. I'd buy it again if I had the opportunity.
br>Good insulation jacket, with the specifications clearly printed on the wire jacket. Stranded copper wire that came in a roll and was well-wrapped to keep it safe during shipping. Yes, I would definitely purchase it from this seller again.
This is a good wire, and after using it, I've noticed the following. Advantages: br>br> UV Resistantbr>Can be Buried Undergroundbr>Temperature Range is Goodbr> 40°C to 90°Cbr>Thick and durable insulationbr>Good price for what you getbr>br>Cons: br>Wire is stiff and not on a spoolbr>They packaged this in a very tight wrap that is difficult to work withbr>The wire stays coiled as you pull it out of the wrapbr>The insulation is only rated for 90 degrees Celsius. When compared to higher temperature wire, this may have a minor impact on ampacity.
A 10 gauge wire is stiff, but it was easy to work with, so it was definitely worth buying. I'll be buying again to have a couple more extra rows and just to have it on hand, and for a hundred feet, you can't beat the price! I'm not sure why other people are complaining about it. It's inexpensive enough that if you don't like the wire, you won't be out much money? Definitely recommend!.
Quality copper wire with considerable memory retention but no more than expected for a 10 AWG copper wire. I placed a 50-foot order with them. Used to replace aluminum wire I mistakenly purchased for my 200 Watt portable ground-based solar panel setup. Copper wire at a reasonable price has made me very happy. Arrived in good condition, on time, and with the 50 feet each that was advertised. Instead of 25' 50' 100', I wish it could be purchased by the foot or in 5 foot increments.
This product is not intended for use in vehicles. This cable does not appear to be what it claims to be. It's not meant to be used in cars. It's a lot stiffer than it should be. br>The cable appears to be of excellent quality, but be aware that it is extremely stiff. It has fewer, but much larger diameter strands than standard automotive cable of this size, making it difficult to work with in many automotive situations. It's O when it comes to solar panels. However, it is not recommended for use in automobiles. It's odd that it's marketed as being suitable for use in automobiles.
