I needed something to keep my grape vines from falling over, and neither paracord nor months of standing in the yard would suffice. This stuff, on the other hand, is fantastic. It's pliable while also being durable. Cutting it with pliers isn't possible; you'll need a special wire cutter.
Shipper who works quickly. A deck railing is made out of this material. It looks fantastic.
On our patio, we used it to hang three 18-foot sail shades. Excellent quality and durability.
It arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Thanks.
Great price, quick delivery, and excellent packaging, which included a nice spool of yarn in a sturdy box.
Along with a truck strap, a leaning tree was pulled from over a house. I used a 10,000lb truck strap to attach to the base of another tree about 80' away. To safely fell the tree, I drew the lean about 5' and then slightly past center. Knowing that the tree's balance was exactly where I wanted it made me feel safer. Remember that a steel cable has very little stretch, so don't count on it to pull the tree down. Before cutting, make sure the tree's weight is in the right place. In the three days it took to straighten the tree, I'm not sure I put more than 800 pounds on this cable. As a general rule, do not overload the cable by more than 1/5 of its strength. Wind and thermal expansion/contraction are also factors to consider.
