Questions & Answers
Will these rust if they're left out in the sun in a tropical climate?
Mine have been used as dock cables for the past couple of years and have shown no signs of rust, despite the fact that stainless steel is not supposed to rust.
What is the most efficient method of chopping this? Hacksaw? What are wire cutters? Cutting tools for bolts?
Wire rope cutters are specifically designed for this task. Also useful is a circular saw with a metal-cutting blade.
What country does this cable come from?
I'm not sure where it came from, but wherever it came from, it's a strong, high-quality SS cable.

Using to keep a boat dock secure. It's SS cable, by the way. There are a few frayed strands to watch out for, but everything else is as expected. Shipping is very quick.
