Questions & Answers
It's about every week that I change the solution in the little bottle that's attached to the pH probe. If I do more sampling on occasion, I notice this more often The EPA and state water sampling protocol recommend that you change the probe once a month (at least one month into the winter storage period). If you intend to use it again the following spring after you've already changed it once, you should replace it again. The battery must be removed from the meter as well, if you intend on storing the probe attached to it. This is because I have found that the meter can have memory problems with it.
It will evaporate over time and leave a crust on the pH sensor bulb, so it is important to monitor it weekly. The rest of the program works as expected.
As the solution is identical to what Hanna requires, your meter will also be protected.

I am disappointed in how long the shelf life is. By 2/2021, the Use By date will have passed. According to the label, it has only about five months of usable life. I am not likely to pay too much attention to this unless I encounter a problem, but I prefer something with a shelf life of at least 12 months, if not 18 months.
In addition to this, this will apply to other storage and cleaning solutions There is no doubt that this component is one of the most searched-for in the industry A testing kit cannot do without these essentials. The device is suitable for all electrodes For pH probes that use bulb heads, it is vital to keep the junctions and the bulb head itself dry and moisturized. This will ensure 1) longevity of the probe, 2) consistent, repeatable results, and You should keep an electrode well maintained if you want it to last The probe is based upon data This is a vital aspect that should not be overlooked! In the past, I've experienced probes that failed after their first (and only) reading due to this lack of solution or the lack of any solution. You should keep this stocked at all times, so accomplish yourself a favor. If you are doing water treatment/sampling as per the requirements via your company or by your state's DEQ/DEP (Department of Environmental Quality/Protection) for the EPA, this information is also required. It is critical for the accurate/consistent readings of your sensors to wash calcium carbonate based AFMD Acid/Ferrous Mine Drainage treatment chemicals off your probe. There are several other chemicals commonly used for cleaning such as FLOC, EnviroFloc, oxides, I strongly recommend this book.
It's a must-have if you own any PH meter, even if it's a cheap 5 dollar model. The probe tips on my meters only need to be calibrated once every month for as long as I keep them in this solution after each Some people complain about the white crusty deposits that build up around their meters or the caps that they pour the solution There is nothing harmful regarding the use of this substance. Just wash it off under the faucet before using it. Crystallization is just the evaporation of the solution.
The program works as expected. I've noticed a bit of crystal build up, but it doesn't seem to harm.
It may be a cleaning agent though I am not sure. This is an excellent solution for storing things. For the price, it's a good value for the ph tester pen I always keep in it. In the long run, I'll be able to change the solution every few weeks or so, even if it lasts me a long time. This item does not mention on the bottle whether it is a cleaning solution or a storage solution, so I have a problem with it. The Oakton company makes a cleaning solution, but this product is listed as only for storage purposes.
It is a very convenient product. It will prevent you from having to prepare a fresh pH solution each time you need to update the pH electrode storage container.
The item is what it claims to be. To store the EcoTestr ph 2 pH tester from Oakton I use this case. What the program is supposed to do is what it does. Make sure the pH tester tip is moist at all times.
Okay, everything is fine.
