I learned certain lessons a long time ago from keeping reef tanks for over 30 years. There are several points to keep in mind when buying calibration fluid. One is to never buy it in bulk containers, because once opened it only lasts for a short while before getting contaminated or evaporating. It is very easy to get bad results with even a tiny amount of evaporation and contamination. It must be said, those Hanna Packs are a must. Not only are they a perfect calibration, but since they are only used once, you can be sure In other words, work to ensure that the fluid is stored in a sealed container after use. Using and storing 4 packs resulted in the pH deteriorating after a few uses, so I tested it against a fresh pack.
