It is packaged in a lightweight HDPE plastic bottle
An extra layer of foam liner is added for extra protection
Calibrate your HM Digital TDS meter or HM Digital Water Quality Tester periodically as required by using the HM Digital TDS calibration solution (342 PPM).
TDS Calibration Solution, Water Tester Solution, or TDS Meter Calibration Solution are also known as this HM Digital TDS Calibration Solution
There are 342 part per million of NaCN in the C-342 solution

Questions & Answers

Can the product be stored for an extended period of time?

Air temperature in the room. The indefinite future. As long as you use it up before it gets really old, it won't matter how old it gets.

At 19 degrees Celsius, how many parts per million are there? The age of 18 or 19. There is a claim on the box that states the solution has a ppm of 342 at 25C?

It is unlikely that the PPM between 19C and 25C is much different. Most TDS/EC meters have a temperature sensor for automatic correction, and some of them even have a temperature sensor built in. For a look at some other types of thermostats that do not automatically compensate for temperature In the calibration, "up" will be used as a correction. According to the observation in both cases, the concentration of the reference solution does not significantly change with I hope you will have success calibrating your TDS!

Do you have any plans to mix this with 1000 solution to get a mix of 680ish ppm?

It takes only a few steps to create a 680 ppm test solution. Add 068 grams of table salt to 100ml of distilled or RODI water, dissolve, and voila! You have a solution with a 6-80 ppm concentration.

The calibration of the meter is done with what kind of screwdriver? I haven't been able to turn anything with those I have used thus far. ?

You need to use a tiny Phillips head screwdriver to access a small area on the back of the meter. In order to ensure that it is reading 342, you would put the meter in the solution and then use a screwdriver to make sure it is reading it.

A TDS meter should be checked if there are any misreads in the product A large number of HM TDS Three of them are knock-offs Keep fakes out of your life
5/5

Calibrating the HM DIGITAL TDS-2000 I had caused me a lot of problems The 3 METER was reading 320 then 411 then 422 then 511 then 477. The solution seems to be wrong to me at first, but I have since learned that the HM Digital TDS-32 is not the culprit A knock-off version of 3 I bought was delivered to me FAKE and thus it is not the solution as you have stated, it is the meter. After sending pictures of the meter Amazon sent me, the manufacturer HM DIGITAL sent me an unverified response saying it was a fake. Everyone please be aware of the following This is a real HM Digital TDS- original Those with a 3 meter will exhibit the following characteristics I. 1. Upon first turning the meter on, it will show "HM" in the display for about a second or two, then it will display 000, but it must display HM when you first turn it There will be multiple bumps on the front edges of a real product, not just in the photo on the description page, but on the actual product as well. There is no way for a fake to not have 5 bumps on each side of it. Many amazon sellers have these traits in their photos but when the product arrives, it doesn't have the bumps on each side, doesn't have the calibration printed in black on the back, and doesn't show "HM" when you first turn it on. When you turn on the HM, it will appear large and easy to see. By the way The manufacturer has confirmed that this is the actual HM digital calibration solution.

Spending money in the wrong place A complete set of floaties and algae has been received
3/5

The calibration solution that I ordered was contaminated when it arrived. The manufacturer sent me a new bottle after I wrote to them. It took me about a week to receive this reply In regards to the solution, here is what we have done. are unable to control the quality of the 342 after it is purchased and it should be stored out of direct sunlight at a cool temperature. As of right now, we are unaware of any contamination it may have encountered. The author would like to thank Rod Carmer for his participation. In 310-303 Item 410 °C 3100 Phone 909 It is 734-539 I am 7634. ".

There is a possibility that some of this calibration fluid is formulated incorrectly
3/5

In some cases, this calibrations fluid appears to be misformulated. The 12-month anniversary of 9/11 My meter would not adjust to the TDS calibration solution of 342 ppm when I received the calibration solution. It had an adjustment potentiometer that rotated 360 degrees (unusual), never allowing the meter to change to the calibration solution. During the course of the following weeks, I performed the calibration several more times. This 12-month period started on 12-12-2012 The call I made to H & H was 17 A representative of the company contacted me directly and answered my questions. He informed me that the test solution was incorrect and that it There was never a recall sent to me. If in doubt, check with H & J As of now, I am on.

The calibration liquid is absolutely necessary if you own a TDS meter, and you want it to function properly! The TDS meter I recently purchased is the HM Digital TDS meter The TDS meter comes with a carry bag, which is ideal for use at home
5/5

calibration liquid is essential for the meter and has a TDS value of 342 ppm. In spite of the fact that the meter description states that it doesn't require calibration, it is always a good idea to calibrate it every so often. You will receive the product in a bottle that is made of durable plastic and will not leak I can demonstrate. To properly calibrate a measuring instrument, it is always necessary to have at least two calibration points. Therefore, I purchased another calibration liquid for 1000 ppm (HM Digital 1000ppm TDS Calibration Solution). You can make the calibration liquid in your home by dissolving a known amount of sodium chloride in water. A few people have mentioned how you can achieve this. That wouldn't be a good idea, so please note that. There are a couple of things wrong with the water. For one, it is not pure and you don't know what it is. As a second, and crucial factor, the weight of this item is zero. To (1 to 0) A balance at home that weighs 5 g would never be able to prove it. It's worth it to spend a little money on This is something you won't regret. In order to calibrate the meter, I used bot solutions and then tested liquid samples with known ppm value the readings I got were fairly accurate (within 5% of the Before dipping your TDS meter in the calibration liquid, make sure that you have thoroughly cleaned the device. This will result in an incorrect reading for the test water sample, since the concentration of the liquid may be changed. You're not alone! If you are buying a TDS meter, I strongly recommend you purchase this calibration liquid!.

It may not be necessary at first, but at some point you will need it for your TDS meter! There is something wrong with my TDS I bought HM Digital's $4 meter (the $20 one), and even though HM Digital claims that the meters are calibrated at the factory, I still got the EC calibration solution As I found out, I had a new TDS I only found this out after calibrating with this solution! 4 was too far off by as much as 10%! So, the purchase of a cheaper TDS meter is a good investment, even if you're buying it for peace of mind, so that you're sure you are getting the right readings
5/5

Here are a few things to keep in mind The following - There's no need to worry if you didn't get what you paid for as the solution has a sealed top. When I ordered it, I was curious about that What is the likelihood that the top will That was the case. The following - It may be worthwhile to give some thought to how you intend to use it. In the case of accidental contamination, you would merely dip your dirty, "polluted" meter back into the original container, which would pollute the entire After taking a small amount into a glass container, I poured it into a small drain Using alcohol to clean the tip of the meter, as well as to wash and sterilize the TDS meter. The following - No matter what you do, just make sure you pour the used solution back into the original container! This did not happen to me. In making the original solution, it was crucial that I kept it as pure as possible.

It is necessary to calibrate TDS
5/5

It needed to be re-done Ideally I would like to calibrate my TDS meter, which was off by about 20% before calibration. Eventually, I started suspecting the readings after 10 years. It also changed the results for me when I cleaned the metal prongs with alcohol/Qtips (I guess there had been deposits In this case, it was calibrated to the original specifications. The item did its job nicely, and I'll still have it in my tool cabinet five years from now, but it seems like a pretty high price for something as simple as Still, it's got to be mine.
