Questions & Answers
I checked the specifications on both machines and they appear to be identical. The 3624 is about ten dollars more expensive, but it comes with a two-year warranty. The BGSS1481 is allegedly "commercial" rated, costs about ten dollars less, and comes with only a one-year warranty. It doesn't make any sense to me. The hose replacement part number is listed in the BGSS1481 manual, but it is not listed in the 3624 model's manual. They're most likely the same, in my opinion. The hose splits near the cleaner head, according to most reviews. It would be a good feature if it could be easily replaced.
No, the instructions say to fill the canister with warm to hot water, but I always have the samebr>Water with the soap in it. It's a fantastic machine, with the exception of the hose, which should be kept straight (other than when it's rolled up to the machine). When you repeatedly "kink" the hose, it cracks. It is difficult to repair or replace. Fantastic piece of equipment!
Hello, there is only one brush included with this item.br>Thank you.
It's a self-contained system. There is no separate unit to connect to.
Selected User Reviews For Bissell Little Green Pro Commercial Spot Cleaner BGSS1481
I thought that because it was a commercial version, it would be better, but it wasn't. I tried using it on my wife's car and it wouldn't suck out all of the water, leaving the carpet and seats very wet. I figured it might have been a user error, so I tried it on our couch, which had the same result: it was very wet and didn't suck out the majority of the water. I borrowed a spot pro from a friend, and it worked perfectly. It was a lot more suction and worked a lot better. I didn't test it on carpet in the house, but I planned to use it for auto and furniture restoration, so I'm out of luck. I returned it and replaced it with a Spot Pro, which performs admirably for me.
To begin, I'd like to point out that this machine is most likely to perform well on carpet. It isn't recommended for use on upholstery, however. According to the video on Bissell's website, this is not only a carpet spot cleaner, but also an upholstery cleaner. br>br>Despite the fact that the suction was at its maximum, it did not seem to pull water from the small, flat spot on our loveseat. Even though it only drained a small amount of dirty water, it left it extremely damp. Again, probably very good on small, flat spots of carpet, but not on curved or edge surfaces of furniture where the tool head cannot maintain constant contact with the surface. Using this machine to clean both the sofa and the loveseat left them very damp for long periods of time, which I did not expect from a machine with such strong suction. Yes, there was some dampness, but it wasn't wet dampness.
Not good. Design flaws. I'm not sure what Bissell designers were thinking or if sourcing ordered the wrong springs, but the spring that closes the valve in the bottom of the solution tank is too strong and causes the tank to buck up to the point where even a full tank will drain onto the floor. The consumer should bring it to a repair shop, according to Bissel. You want me to take it in to be serviced after I just opened the box and tried to use it? Heck NO! I returned it for a refund, and it's a shame that what was supposed to be a professional version of the Little Green Machine isn't worth the money.
The Bissell Spot Clean Pro comes with a low-quality hose that splits at the handle, resulting in a machine that lasts only a few months. I don't think it's a good idea.
And when I say brand new, I mean it was still in the box and hadn't been used for more than two months. I was a little hesitant about the price, but after reading a lot about other upholstery machines, I decided it was the best option. I wasn't expecting so much dirt and who knows what else to come out of my couch. I wish the attachment was a little better quality, by which I mean more durable and with fewer sharp edges, and I also wish there was a little more suction power so I wouldn't have to go over wet spots multiple times, but other than that, this machine works great, and I'm very impressed with how well it cleaned my brand new couch. I'm going to try it on my mattress next, just for kicks! What a fantastic item!.
I used this little gadget on it the day before yesterday, and it worked perfectly. wow! I had stains on that fabric that no other product could remove; it always left streaky lines and didn't get the stains out, but after using the Bissel Green Pro, the seats look fantastic! It's almost brand new! I'll admit that it took me two attempts to remove all of this gunk, but I'm amazed at how clean it turned out! Now. Now it's time to move on to the next set of benches.
I was able to remove a large red stain in my boys' room, which was caused by some Bbq rib rub spilled on the floor. This tiny machine did a fantastic job! I'm looking forward to putting it on my vehicle's carpet. In case you're interested, here's something else to think about. It will take a few minutes for the water in the hose to prime the first time you use it.
This item has been used three times. It had ceased to function. disappointed a great deal.
