I spent $1000 on plumbers who couldn't get rid of it even with industrial snakes. We came to the conclusion that breaking up my shower floor to clear the blockage would cost me $7,000. MY BACON HAS BEEN SAVED! You'll thank me later if you go out and get one. This device was instrumental in resolving a problem. A dryer vent duct cleaning brush detachment from the rod resulted in the brush being lost DEEP in the duct, which was the worst-case scenario. I bought the longest length I could find for this device. To my surprise, I was able to pull out the brush after about 30 minutes of blind fishing! I was able to save thousands of dollars because of this device! A huge sigh of relief. It's worth more than its weight in gold. Ignore the negative feedback; this item is well-made and has a good grip! This tool is incredible and should be in everyone's toolkit. This book comes highly recommended. And at this price, it's a no-brainer.

I bought the longest one in the hopes of being able to do the most with whatever came up in the future. I tried using it to unclog a toilet drain, but it was too curved. The claw cannot be pushed out with the plunger because there is too much resistance within the tube. It gets stuck in the middle. If it were only a little bit shorter, I'm sure it would be a lot better. There would be less give in the sleeve, making it harder to absorb pressure. So long as you're not sending it around any tight curves, it'll work fine. Because the majority of people purchase this to use on a toilet, If you're going to try it, I'd recommend getting the shorter one. It turned out to be completely useless for me. after you've snagged something from the toilet- Instead of returning it, I'd rather throw it away.

Our dryer's lint trap was clogged by someone who threw some large trash down it. This isn't the place to point fingers at others, but it had to go. br>br>I tried about 30 times to get the large object out of that blind dark curved chute, but I couldn't get it out - I, on the other hand, pulled out fistfuls of sequins, lint, dead bugs, buttons, and rocks. After a few hours of futile searching, I gave up and went online to look for a model with a built-in camera. br>br>After that, my wife gave it a shot, and she got the trash on her first try. We had a problem with the dishwasher overflowing into the kitchen sink overflow spout when it was draining. I used to have a sink snake that was only 2 feet long, and it got some of the gunk stuck in the pipe/tube, but I could tell there was more further down, but the snake was too short. I came here to find this ridiculously long one, and it is indeed ridiculously long. The problem I had was that the hole in the sink overflow opening for the larger pipe/tube was extremely small. Other sink snakes, on the other hand, would not fit in that entry hole. This was an excellent choice. It's a little difficult to press down to expand out the grabber on the end, but if you wear some thick gloves, it's not as painful, and it was able to reach all the way down the tube with plenty of length left over. The clog was finally cleared, and the dishwasher is now draining properly.

However, it serves me well. It has the advantage of being long, but it also has the disadvantage of being long. The suitability of this product is determined by the requirements of your application. I'm going to put it down a 3" pipe as part of a vaccum system and use the claw to pull any stuck debris out. It's perfect for that. You won't be able to press the plunger and have the extractors come out if you make too many tight bends with it. There will be too much friction lock inside; it's great that it's extra long; however, it makes it super floppy; therefore, you may need to tape it to something more rigid to solve that problem. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product as long as I don't try to use it in ways that are beyond its capabilities.

You could see it in the curve, and I tried using what I had at home, but it was stuck. Given that this is a Dyson, a repair shop will be costly, so $10 was a good bet. I had to dig through some "stuff" before I could get to the pen, but after a few tries, I was able to get it. It's well worth it, so keep it on hand in case you need it. Please keep in mind that using the capture press takes some time and effort.
