Dear Customerbr>After use, the flexible shaft can be completely released, and when retracted, it can prevent the flexible shaft from swinging too much or breaking during the retracting process.
When you see this joint in the video, you'll notice that the drain snake has been fully stretched 25 feet.
I have a similar issue with two new puppies who chewed through the cords to my battery charger in multiple locations for the same item. Right now, I'm looking into getting a replacement. If I am successful, I will let you know who to contact.
Wash the cable with warm, soapy water. After you've finished cleaning, wipe the remaining water away with a dry, soft cloth. Please clean and wipe the drain snake with a damp and soft cloth.

The head of the cable was cut off and left behind in the pipe during the first attempt to clear a clog in the bathtub drain, despite the fact that I operated it at a very slow speed and followed the manual's instructions for how to operate it if the cable had come into contact with an obstruction. I gave it back to you. br>br>I rarely leave a review because I don't have time. But I'm leaving this review because the seller never replied to my email inquiry to tools@populo. com. com.
I bought it in January and have had great success using it on the tub. It failed to clean out the drain when I tried it on a sink in July. With the right side handle switch pushed in, I moved the handle forward to allow the snake to extend out. The drum spun for 3 minutes as the motor hummed. At high speed, it takes 4 minutes. I expected it to be around 20 minutes long. Extendable up to 30 feet. What I discovered was that it only had 8-hours of sleep. The snake was ten feet long when it was released. It was simply twisting in the pipe. br>br>After 15 minutes, it was still twisting. br>br> I was able to retrieve all but 4 feet after 20 minutes with the handle in the reverse position. br>br>I was planning on taking the device out to the driveway today and spray painting color markers every 5 to 10 feet to see how far the snake had extended or retracted, but it will not extend at all now.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This tool must be properly DRIED and AIRED OUT before being stored to avoid rusting and breaking. Remove the rear Drum Drain Plug and, when you have a chance, stretch the cable all the way out and let it dry with an old rag or towel. I used it to unclog a clogged toilet, a slow draining kitchen sink drain, and a slow tub drain. I was even able to clear the toilet clog by inserting this Drain Auger into the toilet bowl itself. The trick is to go slow; guide the cable with your gloved hand as you turn it slowly with battery power, gloves included; when you feel resistance, lock the cable and spin in place; after a few minutes, feed the cable again; keep in mind that some resistance will be felt when passing joints and bends in your plumbing; keep the cable turning slowly and it will easily go out 25 feet. If you don't properly dry your Plumbing Auger Cables, they'll rust.
My 65- year- The old house has numerous plumbing issues, and I have to hire a plumber once or twice a year to clear a line. The blockage was cleared in 15 minutes using this device. The first few times I tried, it took a wrong turn and went UP the vent stack rather than down. I was able to take the proper downward turn, right behind the wall, by using the handy rotation direction switch. In comparison to a $130 plumber call, it has already paid for itself. I'm sure I'll need a main-frame computer from time to time. clean-up line pro I won't be able to finish most small jobs with this, but I should be able to get most of them done.
The drain in my washer had become clogged once more. It was extremely inconvenient because every time I ran my washer, water spilled all over the floor due to a blockage about 6 feet down. I couldn't just push a long rod down the pipe to unclog it because it has a 90-degree bend. I paid a plumber $157 to clear it out over a year ago. This time, I attempted to clear it on my own. Like the last time, I went to the hardware store and bought a variety of heavy-duty drain cleaners. Nothing seemed to work. I even tried a manual snake that I had to turn myself, but it didn't work. I bought this Populo snake auger after a lot of research and deliberation because it was an Amazon Choice and the price was very reasonable. It came with a nice bag, instruction card, and manual, as well as some flexible gloves that barely fit my small hands (which I never used). I tried it after reading the instructions. It's well-made, simple to operate, and capable. The metal snake easily passed through my pipe, going quite a distance before becoming stuck, as shown in the video. It came unstuck after I reversed it. I rolled it back and tested my washer after a few minutes. It appears to have cleared the clog in my drain, as the water no longer overflows as it did previously. If it clogs up again, I'll just use this. The mission has been completed. I'm in a wonderful mood! 5 stars!.
After 30 minutes of charging the battery and 30 minutes of use, I now have a functional toilet! It was incredibly straightforward! I scratched the toilet porcelain a little, but that was mostly due to my inexperience with these toilets.
Please read the instructions carefully. Put your shoes on and tie them. If you only read one instruction manual this year, that's fine. THIS ONE IS DEFINITELY WORTH READING. br>br>Also, check to see if your shoes are tied. br>Also, double-check that you don't require all of your arm hair. Dish soap should be used on the gloves that come with the kit. All of a sudden, everything became twisted. Except for the arm hair, it's very simple to reverse. So, I had a serious glog. br>br> I was considering a 50' but the cost and my level of capability prevented me from doing so. br>br>Had some difficulty figuring out left right back forward this that. After all was said and done, a right screw and manual feed worked perfectly. br>br>I paid $92 in total, including taxes. br>Came with glovesbr>Came QUICKLY, like within two hoursbr>Durable. br>Well constructed. br>Battery lasted longer than all of my ripped hairs and idiot get your shoelace caught. br>A bag is included. br>Cleaning is simple. br>Variable speedbr>Ideal for non-professionals. The battery charger has an odd connection. br>br> But, once again, it's primarily due to my refusal to follow instructions. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE GOING ANY FURTHER. br>br>From 6 thumbtack, craigslist, and home advisor, plumber quote 125 to show 125 per line. br>br>WORTH THE MONEY IF YOU ARE OK WITH DOING A DIRTY JOB AND SAVING MONEY. Oh, and I used it to clear out a down spout as well. If you do this, TAKE IT SLOWLY.
