Product Description

The double coil 5 way solenoid valve is normally open in its 2 position (normally)

At 145 psi

As the coil is de-energized, the valve remains open. As it is energized, the valve closes.

It has 1" NPT ports on the outlet, 1" NPT on the inlet, and 1" NPT on the exhaust. The pneumatic fittings we offer can be directly connected to air tubes with a 1/4 or a 6mm bore.

The pilot of this solenoid valve has a high-quality response, allowing it to respond 4 times per second, and is stable in operation.

Questions & Answers

Would this make it possible for me to change the exhaust port positions so, for instance, if I wanted to feel an airbag on the right hand side of the vehicle because it's lower, could I do so?

The opening of one side closes the closing of the other, but one side In order to feed the air bags, two separate two-way valves each with a separate switch are required. Operating a double action cylinder is where this valve proves most useful.

Does it make sense to power these two coils independently in a flip-flop arrangement? Is a triple 5way coil what i need? Or would a double coil be better?

If you want to power each coil separately, you can do that. So, I can, for instance, extend a piston using one coil, and then retract it using the other.

How about the 220v coils that come with the valve?

The valve has a solid build and has A solid construction and mechanical operation was evident with no leaks

As a result, I was unable to use it since it wasn't a zero differential valve.

A great valve at an affordable price

Despite its small size, this valve does the job. I like how easy it is to use and that it works as advertised. I am using it to engage and disengage a pneumatic piston. It comes with a muffler that helps with the noise.
