Reduced my expenses by $7468, saving me $7468

The moment is over. During the summer, temperatures can reach 90 degrees in Arizona, USA. Today (6/17/2019) is expected to be 104 degrees Fahrenheit/40 degrees Celsius. A couple months ago, when we discovered that our Heat Pump only wanted to pump heat into our home and not out of it, we were frightened. We called a company announcing a $40 diagnostic, and they sent a technician to fix it right away. A technician actually used our AC to start cooling the house during the diagnostic process, but later undid whatever he had done. The technician then provided us with an estimate for replacing the A $7500 check. As soon as my wife got home, I saw the results of the diagnostic, which my wife paid for. We'd have to think about it. The technician, during the diagnosis, said that he "manually reversed the reversing valve" which is why our AC is temporarily working again. As a result of some research and talking with a friend who is an HVAC specialist, I came up with the idea of using this solenoid valve magnet to reverse my reversing valve manually (removing the coil and installing the magnet instead). There has been no issue with the house's cooling since then. It is inevitable that I will have to replace this AC unit (Heat Pump) There's no lasting beauty in this world However, I have saved a few pennies for now. Although it was build to a reasonably high standard, the build quality does not appear very solid. I would rate it four out of five. Though, if there were a 5 star option, I would give this a 5. Update

There is still nothing wrong with it as of July 5, 2020.

It was a job well done
5/5

An application for it was not required. A surprising opportunity presented itself the next day, something that needed to be taken advantage of. Despite the package still being on my dash, I had it on my desk. As a result, the solenoid coil failed to hold, causing the house to heat up very quickly. After the CPS mag has been installed, it has continued for several days without any issue at the residence. The tech tried to "snake" my magnet awhile later when he tried to change the coil. Dispatch reminded the tech that it belonged to me, and he all of a sudden 'remembered' the magnet belonged to me. Rat, go get your own. You stink hillbilly, you better put some deodorant on. you're at it, brush those tusks and teeth and you'll look great. What you are is known to you. My tools are sacred. Do not tamper with them. It is a great product, I recommend it and will buy it.

It works great. I am very happy with it. It saves time during troubleshooting and evacuations. The product is very well made and seems to be I can see is the purchase price. I don't think this would cost more than a dollar or two to create. That's too much money for 33 cents.
