It's essentially the same thing, and they're both for a 30 psi water system, so I believe it can be swapped out.
I'm assuming you're referring to a boiler. Yes, I used it with no problems on my gas boiler. Simply turn off the water supply, bleed the pressure, and wait for the water to cool before changing the valve, or you'll be sprayed with hot water!

Yes, I believe so. I replaced an old valve in the hydraulic heating system about three years ago, and it's been working perfectly since then. The maximum water pressure is maintained at 30 psi with this relief valve.

This pressure relief valve arrived in a timely manner. Above all, it was simple to put together. the ideal match Today is a Saturday afternoon. My at least 25-year-old valve's occasional drip became a spray all of a sudden. I was unable to locate one in my immediate vicinity. Nobody seemed to understand what I was saying. Both H. & The big L didn't have any idea what was going on. H. is one of the company's employees. I was advised to go to "a real hardware store. " I went to Amazon because nothing was open locally. That's it, exactly what I was looking for. On Monday, I may be able to get it. I didn't want to risk spending half of Monday running around. I'm still looking for a valve. The purchase has been made. When Monday arrives, my package is waiting for me. There was no longer any leak after 15 minutes. My sump pump doesn't have to run every 30 minutes anymore, yay! 5. 0 out of 5 stars This is the valve to get if your boiler requires a 3/4" blow off valve. Simply put, don't make the same mistakes that I did. Too much time has been wasted. I knew I'd done it again when the trickle turned into a flood. DOH! GG - arbez.
There's a good chance the tank isn't in good shape. This was purchased, but it still leaked, indicating that there was a second issue. When I removed the pressure tank, it was completely filled with water. After ten years, the bladder on the pressure tanks fails, and the pressure relief valve takes over.
It was simple to install. Turn off the oil burner, turn off all of the zones' supply and return shutoff valves, including the main return, turn off the water supply, depressurize the burner, and replace the valve. Turn on all valves, bleed the system, and turn on the burner once everything has been replaced. It took me 45 minutes.
Bought as a backup because when you try to release it, it usually starts to leak, so why not have a backup just in case?.
An existing valve was starting to fail, and I needed a direct replacement. I bought it because of the specs and the price, and it took about an hour to put it together. Time limit: 30 minutes There will be no issues.
This is the best relief valve you can get. It is the most affordable option. I looked at Home Depot, Valu, and Ace, and this one is the best and most affordable.
item to be found Perfect, but be warned: once it goes off, it's nearly impossible to get it back on. Buy two at once because your local plumbing supply stores will only have the blue tag version, which requires a nipple to change the gender if you need a male end like this one.
My boiler's pressure valve had been leaking, so I had to replace it. The furnace has been operating without any leaks for the entire winter.
