I believe it is effective. I'm not sure how useful it is, but it has all the necessary secret symbols, numbers, and other information that legal authorities require. br>br>The nice people (sarcasm) at the California "Department of Transportation" When they need money, the "Department of Industrial Relations" comes around and pays $175 for two minutes of looking at each compressor. It was suggested that I de-stress. We probably give them a hard time every time he comes around, so they rate a compressor to 150psi. As a result, it worked.
It's exactly what I was looking for.
It does exactly what it says on the tin: it relieves the pressure in the tank if it rises too high! br>I purchased this for my Campbell Hausfeld home compressor because the previous one would only go up to 90 psi before releasing pressure. This new one was installed, and there was no premature air discharge! If you're wondering, it has 1/4 NPT threads. br>I strongly advise it,br>CPS.
It worked like a charm. When tightening the original part that came with the train horn that I bought for my truck, I used far too much force. This part was of higher quality than the one that originally came with my horn.
A 150 PSI Max air compressor was purchased with this purchase. The first one released 90 PSI of pressure, and the second one released just before 150 PSI.
