The pressure is more important than the amount of heat produced. The maximum pressure this valve can withstand is 150 PSI, according to my calculations. The Dometic water heater's working pressure appears to be around 125 PSI, according to my memory.
Camco 10471/10473 3/4" NPT connection has a factory setting of 150 PSI. Although I am unfamiliar with Raritan WH3, the following are the product specifications: Raritan creates products that help maintain an environmental balance and ensure the quality of marine waters because it cares about the environment and the preservation of sea life. I can't promise that the Camco product adheres to these environmental regulations. The Raritan product has a PSI rating of 75. This is one item that I would not recommend substituting.

I saved about ten dollars by ordering from Amazon. The copper pipe that was soldered to the old one needed to be cut. I soldered a new pipe together and it now looks brand new. The new one was a perfect fit, and the slow drip was no longer a problem. A new water heater was estimated to cost $1500 by a professional. Another company gave me a quote of $300 to replace this valve. For $20, I completed the task myself. Don't be afraid; it's simple.
The package and description would have indicated that the RV Atwood water heater was the correct replacement part. 90028 or 100XL is a part number that can be found on a lot of different things. 4 M7 sensor rod with a 4" extension The actual pressure relief valve is marked with an Ext 3" and measures 3" in length. According to what I've heard, the 4" model is preferred in RV water heaters. We'll have to see if that extra inch makes a difference.
This is exactly what I was looking for. My wife's hot water heater began to leak one day after she ran the dishwasher several times in a row. It was time to replace our suddenly leaking hot water pressure relief valve in our 5th wheel after ten years of use, so I purchased this one. The old valve came out with a little mussel, and the new one, which already had teflon tape on threads, went in cleanly and snugly using the removal socket tool, which was also ordered on Amazon. We reconnected the water supply, vented the hot water tank to let air out, and then reconnected the electric heater. We had hot water again in 30 minutes. There are no leaks, so it's simple!.
My hot water heater has found a new home. The length of the probe was exactly the same as the relief valve I removed from my old car. It's a simple device that should only be activated if something goes wrong. I replaced mine less than two years ago, and it's already leaking. I'm using a thermostatic mixing valve, which means I'm keeping the tank at its maximum temperature (140-150 degrees Fahrenheit). a temperature of 160 degrees Fahrenheit ) and then the valve adds cold water to the outgoing water to reduce the temperature to a safe 120 degrees. This allows me to get more hot water without having to upgrade to a larger tank, but the higher tank temperature may make this pressure relief valve work harder. I'm not sure if they use rubber seals, but if they don't, the extra 20-percentage point would be justified. It shouldn't matter if the temperature is 40 degrees. I'm going to give a Rheem a shot to see how long it lasts.

It's not necessary for it to be gorilla-themed. Tighten your arm.
