Valve with a needle

I have yet to put these in place. I intended to use them to build a propane forge. The knob was a good size and would be easy to turn, which I liked about them. They appear to have good opening and closing capabilities. I checked the website, but I'm not sure if they're safe to use for gas. But I'm not a plumber, and the SNV could be an acronym for gas of some sort, I'm not sure.

The Needle Valve is a fantastic device

I paid a little more for this needle valve, and I'm glad I did because it's extremely well made. a gold color with smooth threads and a dark-colored background knob made of red plastic; It appears to be exactly as shown in the image. The knob is 1 3/8" in diameter and 1 1/2" long, with 3/4" OD tubing and a 2 3/8" height. Adjusting the knob from a fully closed to a fully open position results in about 30 degrees of rotation beyond a full three revolutions, allowing for a very fine flow adjustment. This needle valve comes highly recommended by me for anyone looking for a fine and smooth flow adjustment, as well as a good-looking valve. One that is both attractive and durable.

For a long-defunct American corporation, this item was manufactured in China. Inside the box, it's packaged in a zip lock bag.

The product was well-made, but the flow rate could have been a little slower

This valve has a smooth action and is well-made. I hooked it up to a humidifier's water line, where I needed to keep the flow rate low. Unfortunately, the trickle flow I required was too low for this valve to throttle. Despite the fact that it didn't work for my application, I would buy this valve again to control a higher flow rate. It would be useful if the Cv versus stem position chart for this valve was made public.

Quality assurance is lacking

These would be excellent if quality control was improved. Two of the four I ordered work perfectly, while the other two immediately began to leak from the stem.
