Yes! I'm currently using six on my homebrewing system, and they're fantastic. I use them for both high (30 psi) and low (1-psi) pressures. I've been using 3 psi pressure propane with no problems or leaks.
A packing nut and a bonnet nut are shown in the image. The wheel handle appears to be unscrewable to me. The valve body should be able to remove the entire stem assembly, and the packing should be adjustable or replaceable. I say "should" because these valves are no longer in my possession. I was in desperate need of a drip-free environment. My tech service replaced them with soft-valve valves because they were too tight for rough use. valves that have been seated Trerice is a well-known brand, so I'm expecting a high-quality valve from them. The mechanism appears to be a brass "needle" in the shape of a cone that sits in a matching brass socket. This is great for fine-tuning flow rates, but it wasn't quite right for what I needed.
There is a distinct intake end and an arrow-marked outlet end. It may work in either direction for a short time at low pressures, but these valves are designed to seat properly and hold/stop flow in only one direction.
The needle valve in question has a pressure rating of 2,000 PSI and a temperature rating of 300 degrees Fahrenheit. It would normally be able to shut down. MANUAL operation can be used to turn off and/or regulate flow.

I like the "valve," but I was hoping for "two valves," not just one. "Manufacturer Series Number 735" is listed in the specifications. br>"735-" is listed in the description. 2 Needle Valves"br>Since I placed my order, the listing has changed. The cost was ten dollars. 05br>and with a $25 purchase, you get free shipping. Order has been reduced from $0. 00 to $1. 00. 00 + postage br>At the current price, I would have questioned the quantity. br>Specifications for this item lists "Exterior Finish Stainless Steel," which I don't care about but which is sloppy advertising and may have been important to some. br>I find that now when I dig deeper into links of "Specifications for this item," I find that when I dig deeper into links of "Specifications for this item," I find that "Number of Items 1" is what I find when I click "See more. " br>The significance of this is that my project will be stalled until I find another valve and wait for it to arrive.
This is part of a larger upgrade to my RV BBQ grill. It performs admirably! (Look for the valve on the grill's side. ) I can now regulate the temperature of the grill from a very low setting (just a low simmer) to the ideal grilling temperature. There will be no more burnt food! The valve is well constructed and allows for precise control.
Although it isn't a bad valve, it isn't made of steel. It's made of brass (as stated in the description) and has a much lower pressure rating than 2000PSI (I'm not sure what the actual rating is, but it's certainly not over 600PSI). The most significant reason for the lower rating is that the picture and pressure are completely inaccurate. br>The cost is reasonable, and the quality is satisfactory. The valve is also a little tough, which isn't ideal. Because of this, it's difficult to make fine adjustments in flow, though that could be just me. Overall, it's not bad.
My outdoor water fountain loses water throughout the day as it runs. I required a system that would allow me to add a small amount of water without overflowing. I tried a small plastic drip valve, but it didn't have fine enough control. This sturdy needle valve is well-made and performs admirably.
When I buy needle valves here, half of the time they don't work. I placed a double order. One of them performed admirably, while the other failed miserably. It's not like it's going to leak or anything. The knob is stuck and will not budge. I attempted to repair the broken one by removing the nut, but it had fused in place. I ended up removing the glued-on knob but was unable to remove the nut no matter what I tried. I tried using just pliers, two sets of pliers, an adhesive solvent to see if it had thread lock, and even putting the body in a vise and using a large pair of channel locks but it wouldn't budge. I heated it up as well. No dice. I'm tempted to take an angle grinder to it just to see what's going on inside, especially since it appears to have been tightened with Thor's hammer.
I received a brass needle valve instead of the stainless needle valve shown in the picture, so don't be fooled by this advertisement into thinking you'll get a high-quality stainless needle valve! And don't be fooled by the description into thinking you'll get two needle valves! For ten dollars, you will receive one $4 brass needle valve.
Excellent product at a reasonable price.
The needle valve is well-built. We purchased it to regulate the flow of gas to a coffee roaster.
